Superbly styled for warm weather hiking, climbing, backpacking and trail running, the Mountain Hardwear Wicked T features a lightweight and highly breathable 70-denier fabric treated with a 35 UPF finish that minimizes harmful UV penetration. This 3.47-oz. Koolnit material contains wicking polyester fibers that pull moisture away from your skin to help you stay dry. A flatlock seam construction enhances durability while minimizing the discomfort of layering under cumbersome packloads.

I ride horses in this shirt. Even in the middle of a South Florida summer, I love this shirt. It cleans up well, dries quickly, and is light weight. Yes, it does run short (more in the back), but that works for me because I'm on the horse. Long shirts get caught under your seat while you're trying to ride. Mine have little side pockets on one side as well. Mine are several years old now and starting to look it, but have held up well. I am 5'9" and weight approx. 185 and wear a large shirt just fine.

I love this tee-shirt. It is light and airy and very comfortable. I bought it on sale so there weren't a lot of colors available in my size. I got the Lagoon blue one. It's a very pretty color, like a gray-blue. Someone mentioned they run small, that was not my experience. I wear a medium and it is very roomy. I ordered a large and it was huge on me.

These tees are light, soft, comfortable, wicking, sun-protective, easy to care for - just wash, and hang dry (you should air-dry them to preserve the wickability). I originally bought 3 for a warm-weather trip; now I have several more. You will never even think of wearing a cotton t-shirt after wearing these! They are both functional and attractive, and they coordinate wonderfully with other MH items, like the Mesa shirt, Canyon shirt. They are quite form-fitting, so get one size larger if this is an issue.

Perfect for warm weather. Hiking or just casual wear. I also have the long sleeve version and use it when I have had too much sun, but still want to be cool. These fit smaller than some other Mountain Hardwear products I have purchased, like fleecey tops and jackets.

This is a fantastic shirt to run in. It provides superior wicking ability and remains dry and cool even after taking a 10-mile run in 80 degree weather. The only drawbacks about this shirt is that it snags easily and lighter colors may be sheer. The second drawback really makes no difference, if you wear a sports bra underneath. Overall, I highly recommend owning at least one of these shirts. I own four now in different colors - two are medium and two are large. I wear the large ones when I want extra room and air circulation. For comparison purposes, I normally wear a 6-8 bottom and 8-10 top. So, I'd say that the shirts run very true to size.

An excellent shirt to use in warmer weather or if you need a base layer that wicks away sweat. It is featherweight and fits comfortably, hitting at the hip at a flattering length but long enough to sit well under my backpack.

This is a terrific shirt for all things active and relaxed too. The material is soft and comfortable and the fit is great. Ever so slightly shear so I recommend a dark color. I highly recommend this shirt!

I don't have this particular shirt, but i have another type similar. they clean like a dream, and I use mine mostly for horseriding activities in S. Florida so i put it to the test! I've had mine awhile (probably over a year) and never had an issue with snags, stains, or any of that. I hang dry though, and they dry in no time! Love, love, love these shirts. Mine even has a secret side pocket with zipper for ID or keys. lighter colored areas are a bit transparent, but am wearing sports bras with them so i don't have a issue with it. they are cute shirts. I can't tell you how many burns i've saved with my Mountain shirts! I wear them also over my swimsuit if out all day or on a boat! never a problem, never too hot!

It's a good shirt, but I thought that'd I'd like to point out 2 things:
1) the shirt is a tad too see-through for me. I ordered dark colors of Red Hot and Lime, and both are really thin material.
2) the sizing information said the shirt runs small. Well, to me, it's really loose! The neckline is really big. I'm 5'2 and 110lbs. I ordered small, and the neckhole/shoulders are too large for me. I'm changing to XS instead.
Other than that, i think it's a great shirt and should perform when hiking and doing other sweat-intensive activities.

I've now purchased 4 of these. They are cool and comfortable and the different shades of blue exquisite. Great for camping, running and biking. I wear a 10 or 12 depending on designer and "large" was a perfect fit. A tad "see-through".

I own 3 of these shirts. They can be dressed up or down. Good for all types of activities. Wash in your hotel and they dry overnite. Really cuts down on packing. Highly recommended!

I own several of these because of their fit, ease in laundering, and ability to dry quickly. The colors stay true and resist staining (I love these tech fabrics!)and the shirts dry quickly after a soaking with a water gun by my young sons. I agree that the casper color (white) is a bit on the transparent side, but no problems with the other darker colors I have.

I have 3 MH Wicked T-shirts and I enjoy wearing them both for hiking or around the town. Great fit, light, and the fabric dries very quickly, unlike the traditional cotton shirts, which seem to dry forever!

These tees are very useful from camping & climbing to running around town. The fit is flattering and comfortable (somewhat form fitting). Just like other wicking tops, they can snag easily.

I love this shirt. I own several short sleeve and long sleeved ones. Keeps you cool. Great for hiking or going to dinner. Flattering fit. True to size. My only criticism is that the casper colored shirt is nearly transparent.

Comfortable, packs down to nothing.
Like many have mentioned, this weave is delicate and would snag easily. As a travel garment it wears and layers well. Under a Canyon shirt or similar LS shirt the chance of snagging is reduced.
It is quick drying and flattering. Some colors, rock rose and dusty violet are a bit duller than others. Consider browsing a brick-and-mortar vendor for color-checks before ordering...then order from Altrec!

This is a very thin, lightweight fabric in a shirt that is stylish enough that I actually love to wear it to work. One of my favorites from the start for just about anything.
I am 5'1, 110 and find the size small to be the best fit.

Everything about this shirt is great, except the length. It comes down only to the top of my hip, and I just prefer a longer shirt. Maybe one size up would be better.

I use these for work (I'm a college teacher). They look and feel great under blazers or sweaters, or on their own (I wish the latest version didn't have seams down the front of the shoulders, though). They do snag.

This shirt worked well on my Mexico trip, however, I think it is sized a bit small. I wear an 8 or 10 shirt, but usually get mediums. This shirt was snugger than I like.

Nice colors however they are much brighter and more vibrant than they display on the web page. Good wicking ability. Dries quick. Comfy and soft. Not synthetic feeling at all. In order to get a length to cover your tummy you need to order a size up which tends to make them a little baggy around the chest and in the sleeves. But this is good for travelling anyway beacause it allows you to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath if need be.

I got a size small and should of ordered a size up. The shirt was a bit short (cut off above my hip) and was a bit uncomfortable to run in because I felt embarrassed. But it did keep the sweat away.

I love the comfort and lightness of this shirt. It's kind of got a silky look to it, so can be dressed up or down. It fits loosely and not too tight which I really like. My only complaint is that it could be an inch longer in length. If you are debating on this one or the North Face Wicked -- I'd say this one is better in style if you want something that can be dressed up and the fit is looser than the Wicked. I love the Wicked too, but it looks more like a cotton women's fitted t-shirt and is the perfect length. This shirt is great though -- I only gave it 4 stars because of the length being a bit short as many others have expressed as well.

So far I've worn my tee hiking and climbing - as a size 4 the small size is a good fit, but the shirt is cut a little short to fit well under a harness without riding up. Overall, it's a pretty basic shirt - the material is not as soft as Capilene, but it does the job.

Mountain Hardwear is my favorite! This wicked T is perfect for my ultra-light backpacking trips to the Sierras. I like the color (Rock Rose) and the way it feels. The only drawback is that it also snags easily.
