These are great tent pegs/stakes. They came with my tent and even though I've pounded them into some hard and rocky gound they're still straight.

I previously had some very well known red stakes that look nearly identical to these and ultimately sent them back because I switch to titanium stakes. Well the day came that I needed something with a wider profile than the titanium stakes so I had to reinvest in some Y, V, or J type stakes. I have had great success with MH in the past so I decided to give these stakes a go instead of going with the much more common brand of red stakes that are nearly identical. I had to contact MH because the information was not available, but these are in fact made out of 7075 aluminum with a T6 temper code, making them identical in materials to the more common brand of red Y stakes. They are a few grams lighter, and just as effective. About the same price, with a nice natural aluminum color. They work great, as well as any other of this type of design.
