Delicious and easy to prepare
December 05, 2010
Over the years I have had dozens and dozens of freeze-dried meals and this by far is one of the best. I tried this for the first time on a 5 day trip to Isle Royale. I was pleased to discover how flavorful the mashed potatoes were and how substantial the chicken was. The entire meal only took around fifteen minutes to prepare but does require separating the chicken from the potatoes during cooking so bring a plate! Also, the breasts weren't seasoned much so if you don't enjoy meat on the bland side then you should probably bring along some S & P. All in all the food was very enjoyable and made 5 straight days of food from a bag seem not so bad.
Pros: Ease of use, Great valueumumum yummy!~~

I have tried other one (Dijon Chicken,Kung Pao Chicken,Denver Omelete). this one is the best.^^ large portions for a serves two meal. Almost too big for two unless you are really hungry. The whole chicken breasts were a nice change from the normal freeze dried meats.

I was getting tired of the all to common pasta or rice combinations prevalent in the freeze-dried food world so I was excited to see something with actual meat involved. The taste was pretty good! I added some Tabasco for a little kick and just chowed down. I also like that it takes less time to cook than other freeze-dried meals. Finally, you don't have to remove the chicken to cook the potatoes.
