Love these flannel lined pants. They are as warm if not warmer than you would expect from a pair of these. The one issue is the waist fits a little tight depending on where you wear your pants on your waist. If you would wear them above the highest point on your hips (i would recommend this because they will not slide down if your hiking or working) i would go for your true pant size but if you are looking to wear them lower on your waist i would go up one size. With that being said there is more than enough room in these pants to be worn higher than a normal pair of jeans. The length is perfect and their loose enough to not ride up and allow for regular movement. Great Buy!! Would definitely recommend these to a pal. Cheers and happy buyingPros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, warmth
Nice pants, but order a size up
December 13, 2012
These are ver high quality pants. The flannel lining is just enough to make them warmer and softer, but not enough to make you sweat. MK pants seem to run small, so I would recommend ordering a size up from your usual size.Pros: Lasts forever
Heavy duty pant, waist runs small

Had built up high expectations for these but they're not as great as i was hoping for. Super stiff outer material, Which will last forever but lacks on the every day comfortability. Like reviews said the Waist runs SMALL... I wear a 32 and ordered 32, need a 34. Took a chance as they were on sale. No biggie, maybe i'll drop a few lbs to get ready for snow season.Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever
Great flannel-lined pants

Always looking for flannel- or fleece-lined pants as a way to avoid wearing thermals. These look great, are warm and toasty and are made to last. Very happy with this purchase.Pros: Great design, Build quality
Great Winter Insulated Pants
April 26, 2012
I wear these pants all winter long. Actually, I wear them from late fall through early spring in Alaska. The fabric of these pants are the same as the "Original Mountain Pant," but they are quite obviously lined with flannel. The flannel isn't all that thick, but it does provide some warmth and it feels good against the skin. I have noticed two things about these pants: (1) similar to my experience with all Mountain Khakis pants, they run small. I usually wear a size 34 waist no problem, with room to spare, even in brands such as Arcteryx that run somewhat small for the athletic fit, but with the Mountain Khakis I always have to bump up to the 35s to be comfortable. (2) the flannel lining on the inside of the cuffs wears out rather quickly. This is likely due to how thin the fabric is and the fact that i walk around the house and outside with he pant cuffs sometimes dragging on the floor. All in all, I would buy this pants again. I already own two pairs, and they are both going strong after 3 seasons. I will probably look to buy a third pair next fall.
Got to have em

If you love MK you HAVE to grab a pair of these! These are just as durable and rugged as any other pair of MK's, but these are lined and it is like wearing pajamas! Whether you are hiking up in the mountains or sitting at your favorite "watering hole" on a cool fall night, these are the best!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Great value
Flannel Lined Mountain Pants
February 09, 2013
Woa, my husband has several Mountain Kakhi pants and loves them all but he raves about these. They are very soft, comfy and warm. We have a had a few cold days in the northeast and these are toasty and look great. They fit true to size. Nice!Pros: comfort, Cons: none

Mountain Khaki's are great, flannel lined adds warmth. Fit and quality are excellent, same as other Mountain Khaki's pants. Looking forward to outdoor wear this fall and winter.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Great value

These pants look and feel great. The fit seems good but may run a size smaller than normal. I can't speak on the warmth of the pants since I am in the Southeast and we haven't gotten below 40 degrees yet.Pros: Build quality, Great value
Flannel super comfy pants
September 30, 2013
I bought these because of MK comfort and durability of there other products. These pants keep you toasty warm when it gets below 50 degrees. I live in southern California and I do get the opportunity a lot to wear them here but when I go to Colorado or Montana on hunts they are my first pair to put on when we go out to dinner.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance
OMG! What a pant!

Got these pants for my husband and he absolutely loves them. This is his first pair of Mt Khakis and now he wants more. They look great on him and are true to his usuall size. He loves that they are so comfortable and keep him warm. They are well made pants that we expect to be very durable. Get them, you or he will love them.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, look great on him
Nice looking flannel-lined pant
January 21, 2010
We live in the Colorado mountains, so my husband and I wear lined pants whenever we go out in the winter and we're not in ski clothes. These are great because they're warm but not bulky; comfortable inside and out; and look great. The only drawback is the light color -- it's attractive, but also attracts dirt, so they have to be washed often.
Sizes run big

I really liked the pants. Be careful, the waist size was significantly larger than my actual waist size.
pretty good, but kinda small
July 26, 2011
I think these pants look great, the lining is awesome and warm, but the waist is about 2 inches smaller than other pants. For instance, I have about a 33 waist, I ordered a 34 so I would have room for tucking in baselayer, but these guys are really snug. I guess they will enspire me to loose a few pounds.Pros: Build quality, Great value, Cons: size

These pants are the best for men who really need pants that last rugged wear and tear. Got a pair for my son-in-law last summer and another pair for Christmas. Normally, a pair of pants lasts this young man about 2 months before the pockets, seams, knees or some other piece comes apart, tears, rips, wears out etc. These pants are built to last! and stand up to a 20-something's abuse. They also come in all imaginable sizes - a great thing since my son-in-law is a very tall young man. I agree with other reviews that the waist size runs a bit small but it is manageable.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value
Another Great Pair of Mountain Khakis
December 11, 2010
This is my third pair of Mountain Khakis. I just cannot get enough. I saw the flannel ones an knew I had to have them for winter. MKs are stylish and very durable. You cannot go wrong. Flannel lining is very well done. I know I will have this pair of pants for a long timePros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever
Great Winter Pant
December 21, 2009
I use them primarily to walk our dog outside during the winter. Toss them on and you're good to go. have had them on when it's 15 degrees outside and have had no issues with the cold. Highly recommended.

Really like the look and feel of these pants. They are very warm and feel pretty indestructible. Fit is a little small so order a size up. I'm usually a 30-31 but ordered a 32 and the fit is good.Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Cons: Cost
Way Too Small! :(
February 15, 2011
Was super excited to finally find a pair of green flannel-lined pants after blowing through some 4 yr old original twill flannel-lined khakis from a higher-end khaki company (no longer made). Intrigued by the Mountain Khaki "toughness." Tried on (I've been a true 32x32 for years) and they are so tight around the waist after buttoning if felt like circulation was cut-off. Plenty of room elsewhere, but the waist is unbearable. I'm going to give it another whirl with the 34x32, as there's no 33x32 stocked, and these are the only green flannel-lined pants I can find. Outer pant seems tough; inner flannel is very thin and doesn't appear it will last long; we will see.
Freestone, Pine and Yellowstone.
