Great pants!
April 27, 2012

These pants are great! I got them as replacements for Dockers khakis and really like them. The only complaint I have is that I have to get them hemmed as the inseam (30"# is way too long. Also, I would recommend going up a size as it seems that these tend to run a little small. I've tried some on in stores that fit perfectly for my size #33#, and others are pretty tight. So when ordering, I go one size bigger. Can't really comment on the durability as I've only had them a few months, but I know other people who have had great experience.

These Khakis are Amazing!
April 02, 2012

I absolutely love these Khakis! They are durable, rugged, comfortable, stylish and fit great. I wear them in the outdoors as well as in the office with a polo. I am 6 ft. tall at 220 lbs. and I purchased a 38x34 and they fit perfect. I would definitely recommend these to any outdoor enthusiast.

Mountain Khakis work for me
February 28, 2012

These twill pants look good and are well made. I like the deep pockets and the fact that there is a bonus pocket for my cell phone. The twill material is durable and all seams are reinforced. There were no surprises and the pants fit as described. This is my first pair of Mountain Khakis but I already plan to buy more for my semi-casual workplace.

Outstanding Quality
February 25, 2012

As expected from Mountain Khakis, my first two pairs of Teton Twill pants were very comfortable right out of the box, and the quality is second to none. They do run a tad on the small side, which is characteristic of Mountain Khakis, so be sure to take that into account. I normally where 31 or 32 waist, and 33 fit perfect. Looking forward to a lot of good years of wear out of these pants at work and play.

Great pants. Nice to have gusset crotch and relaxed thighs, hard to find these two together. I wear MKs to work everyday, either Teton Twill or Cords.

Best fitting pants I've ever purchased
November 01, 2011

These just arrived so I've had a change to wash them and wear them a couple of times. When I say the fit is the best, I mean that quite seriously. I have a 30" waist and invariably all pants, from jeans to chinos, to dress slacks of size 30 fit more like they are 31 or 32" waist bands. When I bend forward there is usually a large portion of the pant that pulls away from the lower back. Not so with these Mountain Khakis. The gusseted crotch relieves typical tightness and binding. I haven't had them long enough to speak to their durability, but they are said to last forever. They are at the higher end price wise, so hopefully that is true. I tried a few other similar pants but all were too casual for my needs, looking more like jeans made with the twill material, than casual chinos.

Great Pant
September 05, 2011

These pants are great. A little baggier than I had hoped, but still plenty sharp enough for the average 9-5'er. But I've found that they are so comfortable that they have for the most part replaced all my more casual pants. Nice to have the lower hem re-inforced and I love the double pocket on the right, which in my mind is more useful than a set of cargo pockets. The weight of the cotton is good year round. Nothing needs to be change.

Mountain Khaki seams
August 05, 2011

Love the pants - great fit, durable. Only concern is the seams on the back hem have a tendency to blow out pretty quickly, which negates having that extra fabric there in the 1st place; the quick fix is to take them in and double up on the seams as soon as you get them. Have had same problem now on 3 pairs with different fabric types.

The only pants in my closet
May 14, 2011

I now own 6 pair of Mountain Khakis, so I can wear them every day. The gusset makes them the most comfortable pants for an all day drive or active wear, and triple stitching means they'll last forever. I'm 6'2" and 250 pounds, and athletic, so it's diffcult to find a great fit, but MKs are the best I've found.

These pants are extremely comfortable. They fit well. The gusset allows ample freedom of movement. The pants are nice enough to wear to work, which I do. Their only drawback is their tendency to wrinkle. This is not a problem in the original Mountain Pants, likely due to their sturdier material.

Great outdoor pants!
March 30, 2011

These are by far the best outdoor pants I've purchased. I've spent a lot of time working outside, whether for work or home. Often I've bought pants on others recommendations, only to be disappointed. Mountain Khaki pants fit great, wear just about right, and are made durable enough to handle just about any type of work outdoors. They're fairly thick, but breathable and cool enough to wear all year round. They do run a bit big, but nothing a belt wouldn't fix. And they drape over your boots just about right. I'm definitely purchasing a few more of these in the near future!

Shrinks a bit
March 06, 2011

Excellent pants with one drawback, they seem to shrink after one washing. I purchased these for my husband and he swears by them. They look great for casual business wear, and are just as suited for a multi-day hike. The reinforced cuff is a nice touch and the gusseted crotch make it very flexible and comfortable. If you prefer to wear your trousers a bit on the longer side, you'll need to order a size longer. While the tag says it is pre-washed to minimize shrinkage, the pair I washed certainly shrunk much more than I would have expected. Overall, however, a top notch pair of pants and I'll certainly be buying more.

Great pants for casual wear job!
February 07, 2011

Bought my first pair of these pants over a year ago. I now own 10-12 pair. I rarely wear anything except these pants. Great for activities/outdoor fun with my children, but also nice enough to wear to work. Very durable and very comfortable pants. The Teton twills have a nicer, finer weave and a more tailored fit than the Original Mountain Khaki pant. Well made! -- The pants that I first purchased are still in great shape despite dozens of washings!

How often to you really get excited about pants!
January 07, 2011

These pants were a gift to my husband. The fit is excellent. It is hard to find rugged pants in a 35 waist. He liked them so much he wore them for the next six days straight. This includes trips to the office and working in the yard. They still looked great when I insisted they be thrown in the wash. There are more Mountain Khaki's in our future. Highly recommend and will buy again.

great pants
December 20, 2010

After purchasing the MK cottonwood cords, which are the most comfortable pants ever, i had to give the Teton Twill's a try. They had the same quality construction and fit. The Teton Twill was not as small as the cords but still ran a little snug. I usually wear a 32" waist and opted for the 33". The pants did show a little shrinkage after the first couple of washes so it is a good idea to order up a size. The length is pretty true to size. The pants are loose fitting with a generous leg opening, great for boots but takes a little getting used too. Overall a really comfortable, great looking pant.

even better than expected
July 22, 2010

I had a pair of "originals" and liked them enough to give these a try. I'm a relatively long-legged, middle-aged guy (w 34, l 34) i was worried these might be too short, but they seem to be perfect after a washing. nice material, cool pocket-behind-a-pocket. look like they'll last about 30 years. Delivery was fast, too. . .

Good all round pant
July 22, 2010

Comfy - stylish - versatile - well made - good bang for the buck! ...if ya want a good mountain oriented pant this is a good one! my gal-pal seems to approve of my "Hiney" in these as well ... and that says a lot right there!

Quality workmanship in a great-fitting, versatile pant.

Great fit. Pockets lay flat, legs not too baggy. Perfect pants for casual wear, hiking in spring and fall, travel. Quality workmanship, great value.

Exactly what I have been looking for!
May 16, 2010

I have been looking for a pair of pants exactly like these... with no luck. I wanted a pant that was in between a blue jean and a dress khaki. I first saw these in a local outdoor store, but they did not have my size. They told me that they did come in size 36" length but that they did not carry those. I am tall, so it is not surprising to me to get this response. But at least MK made these in my length so all I had to do was find them online! Altrec was my answer and I love the pants. They are good looking, totally functional, and super comfortable. Thanks Altrec and MK!

Great pants
April 13, 2010

These pants are extremely comfortable and overall fit well. I feel like the are a hair longer than most of my pants the same size, so you may have to get them hemmed an inch from your normal size. I wouldn't go two inches shorter though; I did this and they were too short on my first purchase of these pants

Gordon King

Very good quality pants
April 05, 2010

These are very good pants albeit a bit expensive. I guess these pants are proof of the maxim "You get what you pay for." They're very long-wearing. The waist sizing and length is accurate.

Love these pants!
April 04, 2010

My boyfriend worked at a gearshop in Columbia, MO a long time ago and got his first pair of these pants. He was hooked! He was able to sell these to customers because he didn't have to stretch the truth about their durability, comfort and overall satisfaction! I just got him a new pair because after 5 years, he finally needed one.

These are my favorite pants
March 16, 2010

The new ones I just purchased are not as heavy as my old ones. The material is thinner. The fit and finish seems just as good as my old ones. I am happy with them.
