Simple, Handy, Cheap
I bought 2 of these for my kids and another for my wife (I typically eat out of my MSR pot!). They are pretty robust, light to carry and cost less than a decent beer. They are thin, so can get warm once you spoon in some hot porridge or soup/stew, but if it's cold, this can be welcome on small gloved hands, otherwise set it on your knee. Easy to clean, compact, well made, can't think of anything bad about them.

If you don't mind a smidge of extra weight, these rule. Especially good for car camping. Top notch gear.
