The bottle is more than sufficient, and very leak tight!
30OZ MSR bottle
May 25, 2011
Always loved these. Light, durable, easy to pour. 30oz is the stove-use volume. They actually hold more like 34 oz full if you are just using it for fuel transport. That is a whole another meal worth.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Cons: CostWrite a review for the MSR Fuel Bottle here.
Exactly what I was looking for.

My only gripe is that while the lid appears to have some sort of venting I still get a little bit of pressure build up causing a tiny splash of fuel when I open the bottle even though I am only filling to the fill line.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valueA must have in the winter
June 25, 2012
This with a whisperlite and your good to go in the winter... The propane stoves just don't cut it below 20 deg. Bottle is very durable. I use this if I know I'm staying the njight and it's smaller brother for a day hike as an emergancy stove. Also use as a reserve bottle on my adventure motercycle.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of useThe 22oz is great for motorcycles
July 04, 2006
I have the 22oz bottle for my motorcycle. I have had it over 2 years and it is still in great shape. I highly recommend this probduct.
Worry Free Fuel Transport

Super strong, leak-proof fuel bottles & lightweight to boot! Stove fuel pump can be attached without concern of leaking. Be sure to depressurize bottle before packing.

Excellent

It holds fuel and doesn't leak even when backed in a bag upside down and bounced for hours. Worked much better than I though they would. No leaks, easy to handle and a great product.

Just what I needed
July 02, 2005
Bought these for spare fuel bottles for long trips on my motorcycle...just in case gas stations are far and few between ..very nice.
Standard purchase, in the quiver.

If you have a white gas burning stove a fuel bottle of this size is a no brainer. I recently did 5 days in the Mount Whitney area and used my Whisper Light Stove with this size fuel bottle to sustain our cooking needs for boiling water for all dinners and tea in the mornings.

Hardcore Quality
October 13, 2010
When you place a bottle of liquid fuel in you pack you got to feel a little bit uneasy. What if leaks on all your expensive gear ? That's that beauty of the MSR fuel canister. The seal is tight in any type of temperation I could throw at it. Like down to 9 degrees F up to 95 degrees F. The pressure and fit of the closure relative to the presssure to make a liquid tight seal is remarkable. This is a hard core quality product. Much like all the other products coming out of MSR.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Cons: noneWrite a review for the MSR Fuel Bottle here.

Fuel bottle for gas
November 18, 2003
Bought fuel bottle to use as a spare gas reserve for a motorcycle. Works great and provides just enough fuel for emergency use. Fits in saddle bags dont leak or smell and dont take up much room. Plan on buying more for other bikes.
UL fuel bottle
July 05, 2009
It's a UL fuel bottle. Bottle and pump fit seamlessly, 33 oz bottle fits for long trips, 22 oz fits for 2-5 days, and the 11oz fits for 1-2 days trip.
Great product
January 04, 2004
Same as above, bought two 33oz bottles for motorcycle gas backup, great pricing and product..!!
Strong & Lightweight
January 27, 2008
These fuel bottles are strong, almost as light as titanium, & don't leak with a pump attached. They also hold a lot of pressure without bulging. When I use a liquid fuel stove, these bottles carry my fuel without worry. When used properly, the 22oz. size will provide enough fuel for seven days.
