Steep walls, plenty of headroom, and lighter than many two-person tents, the MSR Mutha Hubba Tent is a true design achievement, offering spacious living quarters for three backcountry companions. The innovative center pole with branching sections at each end pulls the side panels out, making these walls steeper than traditional dome tents of equal size. Therefore it provides room for three plus a few guests to sit upright and enjoy a game of cards or eat a meal together. The MSR Mutha Hubba's canopy is mostly mesh, thus providing excellent ventilation even when the full coverage rain fly is in use. On nights when there's not a cloud in the sky, remove the fly and gaze at the breathtaking starlit night while all pesky insects remain locked outside. When bad weather does roll in, the Mutha Hubba's fly includes two large vestibules that match-up with wide canopy doors for plenty of gear storage and easy interior access. Features throughout the MSR Mutha Hubba Tent, such as the seam taped floor and fly, reflective guy cords to simplify set-up after dark, and pitching instructions sewn into the stuff sack, demonstrate the attention to detail that went into the design of this award winning backpacking tent.

Great Tent
This is a great tent, I use it as a 2 man tent and it works great for all the gear inside the tent and 2 bodies. Really like the gear loft as a extra, which you normally have to buy as an extra and the footprints are inexpensive. Nice weight for a 3 person tent.

Spacious and Well-Built
Just like all the MSR products I've purchased over the years, the Mutha Hubba tent is well-built and fully capable of withstanding serious backcountry use. I especially like the two large interior storage pockets and the nearly vertical walls. These walls provide a spacious, almost luxurious feel that is more like being at home than cramped inside some of the other tents I've used over the years. I should also mention that it's easy to pitch. For 3 people in all but winter mountaineering conditions, you can't go wrong with the Mutha Hubba.
