Nice and Compact
I recently purchased MSR's Sweetwater Microfilter Water Filter. I haven't had a chance to use it in the field, but out of the box it is very easy to use, quite compact, and lightweight. It will be a great addition to my next BWCA trip.

Great product! Well made and works well
Used in sub freezing weather without a hitch. Well manufactured and fairly compact. Item worked as advertised and held up in very adverse conditions.

Works Great
I recently partook it a 3 day backpacking trip and the other members were using Iodine tablets to filter water. I used the the SweetWater Microfilter and it worked excellent! By the end of the trip, everyone was drinking my water.

gets your water clean
It's prity simple, pump water out of stream and into your bottle. Gets it clean. I also purchased a pre filter. They say it makes it last longer, but I haven't had it long enouph to know how true that is. for the price, you cant go wrong

great filter/purifier
Owner for six years. Used it under trying conditions in hiking and camping trips in Ghana, Africa. Easy to use and travel with. Never failed and I never got sick. Left it in Africa and purchased a new one yesterday. Strongly recommended. Bullet proof.

Great and priced right
It worked as good as stated and better. We had all the clean drinking and cooking water we needed. Easy action and easy for my boy scouts to use too.

Good value... keep it in your pants!
My friends and I used this filter hiking the Appalachian Trail in NJ this January. The filter worked great the first time, although all the hoses and connections are a pain to deal with in the cold. This lead to my next problem which was that the filter element froze solid after the first use. I had to put the filter in a ziplock bag and in my pants to thaw it out and keep from freezing. That was a real pain, however not a reflection of this filter design. I imagine all the filters would have frozen up.
