Whether it's white gas, kerosene, jet fuel or automobile gasoline, the Whisperlite Internationale™ takes it all and burns it easily. The secret is in the large diameter fuel line that lets you burn poor-quality fuel with less maintenance or cleaning than other so-called multi-fuel stoves. Like the Whisperlite Shaker Jet Stove, the Whisperlite Internationale™ features a Shaker Jet needle, which automatically pushes out any excess fuel debris with a simple flick of the wrist.

Chris Hayes - 2002-08-08Fast to use. Kerosene not advisable.
Light! Very quick to assemble! You'll have your pots boiling in no time. Fuel available everywhere.
TIP: after some years the pump may fail due to a dry plunger. Just apply some mineral oil to it; pump will work at once.
I hated using kerosene though: ignition took ages and the sprayer got clogged too often.

My name is Tom, I am a long time user of your products i think they are great. I have a water filter and mess kit they work ausome! I also have one of your whisperlite internationale 600 stoves the thing is amazing, the only problem is that one of the stove legs cracked; maybe do to the heat? it is still useable but it doesen't preform as well as it did! it is still a great product.

i bought this stove as a gift for for two of my friends. they both liked how light and small it was for backpacking. after two years of use one of them had to replace a part of the pump.

My only gripe about this stove is that it doesn't simmer well at all. Turn down the fuel, and it goes out after a short time. But if the only thing you're doing is boiling water or heating somehting on high, the thing works really well and is fairly inexpensive. I like to cook things like rice, so I'll probably by a stove that simmers.
