Warmer than I thought they'd be...

I bought the Epic gloves for winter trail running with my dog. They serve the purpose very well but my hands often get too hot and I have to take them off. Otherwise, they're "epic"!
Not what I was expecting
August 19, 2010
I bought these gloves because I needed something light but warm for my field work and I didn't get any of that with them. I have really small hands and the gloves were small even for me, it's really hard to take them in and out and you can't even wear liner gloves underneath. Once they get wet, they're wet forever and they become useless because all you have is a tight wet glove that doesn't keep you warm at all.
Great balance of warmth and mobility

I bought the women's medium for my 5'7" daughter. Perfect fit. The liner made it a little hard to get on the first few times, but that got better once she figured out which way to point her fingers.
Great gloves for basic use!

I really like these gloves. They're warm, not bulky, and still let you have use of your hands. Great for basic outdoor activities, but not for skiing, sledding, etc. Initially was expecting something warmer, but kept these for general use outside. Fit true to size, but if wearing a liner, I would recommend going one size up.
Flexible, snug fit but not very warm

These gloves fit snugly, but I would not wear them in very cold conditions. Not windproof, but otherwise a nice, lightweight glove.
Great gloves for detailed work
January 17, 2010
Not windstopper but great for doing detailed work with hands, such as tying knots. Put some silk liners under to keep warm when it is moderately cold out. They were a snug fit, size up to wear a liner under them. I wear large and have long fingers. Moisture resistant, dry quickly.

Love these gloves! They are waterproof and not too warm or bulky. Just warm enough when you are going from the house to the car to where ever -- and need your hand covered. Will also be great for dog walking in the early spring -- palms grip and they're not so bulky that you can't 'reign them in'. (We're talking multiple big dogs here folks!
Glove is not EPIC
January 25, 2010
MH missed on naming this glove EPIC - it is not! Needs more insulation and beefiness to qualify as a ski/winter glove. Nice for trips to the Mall!

Great gloves. They are totally waterproof, but not bulky. Nice and light so I have full use of my hands
