Now you can make even the shortest commuter flights a dayhike adventure with the Ramble daypack from Mountainsmith. The Ramble is a smaller version of the Highlander pack, specially sized to meet FAA dimensions as a carry-on. Your airline frowns upon backpacks used as carry-ons? One zip and the suspension system is hidden away beneath a suspension cover--no protruding straps, no questions asked. A new Interface Suspension unifies the cut of the 3/8-inch closed-cell EVA foam waistbelt with the pack bag, creating an integrated close fit to the body. The pack load is neatly compressed through a special Delta Compression System of triangulated straps along the waistbelt, focusing the weight on the pack along the lumbar region for even and stable load distribution. For cooling, Mountainsmith's Spinal Chimney ventilation system features a woven hydrophilic stretch fabric that keeps contact away from your spine, creating a cooling bellows action with every step you take.
