Ideal for summer camping and family trips to warm open spaces, The North Face Moraine 33 Bx Tent beats the heat with exceptional venting with plenty of room for up to three adults. Clipped poles with large mesh panels on all four sides to enhance cross ventilation, even if you have the fly over the canopy. Keep this in mind because some campers might consider the design a little too breezy on cold nights, although an extra unzipped sleeping bag draped as a comforter is usually a solution. The Moraine 33 Bx Tent can also be pitched with the fly only, creating an ultralight shelter--just be sure to pick up a Moraine 33 Bx footprint for the floor (sold separately).
- Lightweight 70-denier 190T nylon taffeta canopy fabric
- Durable 75-denier 185T polyester taffeta fly fabric coated with a waterproof 1,200-mm. polyurethane finish
- Rugged and fully taped 70-denier 210T nylon taffeta floor fabric coated with a waterproof 2,000-mm. polyurethane finish

I bought this tent after many years of going to the north woods boundry waters area. My buddy has the peregrine of wich they don't make anymore. This tent is of the basic size and weight of the peregrine. If you can still find the peregrine new, I would buy it asap. It is a great tent! The Moraine is wonderful for two but may be tight for three, that is normal for these tents. I am 6"2 and my buddy is 6"1 and we had plenty of room. Very easy to set up and pack, only wieghs 8 pounds. I always seam seal my tent regardless of what the factory say's. I have never had a problem with rain comming in. I would reomend The North Face to anyone wanting a quality product that stands the up to the test. Worth the money. There are more expensive tents out there but this is all you need for a great 3 season tent.
