soooo toasty!
I ordered the Large even though I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs. I love the extra room and the length of the sleeves! Very handy as I've layered under it for the chillier mornings. The monkey fur is so soft...love it! It really does block the wind (we have some very windy days here in Vegas!)...fabulous!

Lightweight but warm
It might seem strange for someone from S. Florida to order from Mountain Hardwear, but when Floridians travel to colder climates, some of us are weather sissies. My Monkey Pro jacket was lightweight to carry while traveling, but effective in keeping this weather wuss warm!

I bought 3 to give as gifts and kept them all
Initially I bought one of these for myself, after seeing a client wearing one. Then I bought two more, thinking I'd give them as gifts. But then, they were all different colors . . . so I kept them all and bought two more to give away. The "monkey fur" is so toasty, it keeps you warm--even in Minnesota--where I where it under my down ski jacket. Usually, I don't even bother to wear any other hood because there's nothing as warm or soft as my monkey. Love this little bugger.

Simply the best
I can't believe that anyone would say this jacket is not for real cold nights. This is by far the warmest,coziest, jacket I own. I absolutely love it. Water beads right off of it, the soft fuzzy fleece creates instant warmth inside, and wind doesn't penetrate it. I haven't even been close to cold in temperatures well below freezing.

Fits like a glove
I purchased the jacket because I liked how it looked. I was surprised at how well it fit! The fur lining is very plush and makes the jacket comfortable. The wrists are snug and cold doesn't seep in. The jacket is great for cool fall weather. I'm glad I tried it out!

My favorite jacket ever -- can't seem to take it off
I wear it all day at work (over zealous air conditioning), then all evening at home during the winter. It's soft, and very warmer -- the thickest fleece I've ever found. It's also cute, I wear it with jeans and a tank top, even when it's cold out. I'm 5'4" and I fit the xs but bought a small for a little extra coziness.

monkey pro jacket is the best
I love this little jacket. It is is very cozy and warm yet light. Zip side pockets are certainly handy. The lining of this jacket is the ticket.

plush casual luxury
This jacket is so cute and soft you'd have no idea it was functional. I've had many compliments. It's also very warm (it's currently fall) and not too bulky. There are no inside pockets. The zippered pockets on the outside are great to warm your hands or store small items, like keys. Big items might make your pockets look bulgy or will compete with the space to warm your hands. I bought this jacket in black and I love it!

VERY SOFT AND COZY
My husband purchased a Monkey Jacket locally and they did not have any for women. I liked his so much that really wanted one for myself and was happy to find one online at Altrec. This jacket is extremely soft and cozy. I like that it has a warm/lined hood as well and it is not too bulky to go under a waterproof shell. I am 5'2" 110 LBs and the small fits me.
