Sometimes an epic climb or ski traverse leaves you with no choice but to find the car or the next camp with the assistance of a trusted light source. The new Petzl Myobelt XP headlamp is just the answer for high performance hands-free lighting, especially in cold conditions. A remote battery pack can be worn under clothing to preserve battery life and the energy source can be quickly replaced without removing the lamp from the head. Another prominent feature of the Petzl Myobelt XP headlamp is the super long lasting, high-powered single LED with three lighting levels. Gone are the days of multiple LEDs to provide sufficient light. This extraordinary new LED will throw a beam further and brighter and a boost option offers temporary flood-beam intensity to study sudden forks in the trail or creepy sounds in a neighboring cave. To go along with the advantages of a remote battery pack for cold weather, the entire Petzl Myobelt XP headlamp assembly is water resistant so the rain and snow won't stop you when hiking at night.

It is so bright. I hope they have a yellow or red adapter in the future for foggy day. However, I just add a yellow filter. works great too.
