Engineered with lightweight C5 alloy frame, Oakley's Spike Sunglasses are a full metal alternative to Oakley's O Matter Gascan without any extra weight to weigh you down. Oakley's big peripheral lens design features a distortion-free plutonite material that's geometrically shaped and refined through Oakley's High Definition Optics (HDO) to maintain the same exceptional visual clarity through all angles of view, even at the far edges. Cheap sunglasses with wrap designs usually bend light rays and distort your vision along the edges, so you ignore the blurs and squiggles until something catches you off-guard. We like our Spikes for casual outdoor fun, but the grips on the ear stems help these durable sunglasses hold their own through moderate-impact activities.
- All Oakley lenses block 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC rays (plus blue light)
- Neutral transmission grey lenses have an 18% VLT (Visual Light Transmission) and are excellent for medium to bright light

Nice sunglasses for a great price. Fits both men and women, best for a medium-large face (women). Altrec customer service (live chat) were very helpful. They are absolutely fabulous! Thanx for your help!

I've been a long time Oakley fan and the Spike is tops! I've been accustom to the halfwires for some time and these are a little bigger on your face so at first the feel very different. Give it some time, you will love them! Lots of compliments also!

Purchased a pair of Oakely spike sunglasses. The ones i purchased at Altrec.com were polarized but otherwise the exact same glasses. Item came exactly as promised and condition was brand new. I have been wearing them every day since I purchased them. I would certainly buy from Altrec again.
