Whether you're headed to warm places on a well-deserved vacation or you're doing work out in the field, this highly durable Men's Equator Pant is ready to go with you. The easy-packing, low-maintenance fabric doesn't wrinkle up like cotton canvas pants. The constructed waistband creates a more tailored profile that exceeds the fit most men deal with in sizes that start with a letter instead of a number. The Equator features plenty of pockets, including front slash, side cargo and reach patch. You'll also find a hidden zippered passport pocket tucked inside the front waistband.
Great Pants/Shorts
great dual purpose piece of clothing. I haven't used the pants yet but as far as the shorts go, I have no complaints. The shorts have more pockets than I know what to do with which is great. I hate having to search through my pockets looking for a something because I have alot of things in my pockets. With these pants I don't have that problem
Great causal pants with good pocket for cell phone
Fit slightly tighter than another pair in tan. Had to take up length at extra cost.
A good pant better suited for indoor travel
The nylon is quick drying and softer than I expected.
The belt loops are slightly smaller than prior TNF pant designs.
The design features such as the hidden passport zippered pocket hints that this should be considered a travel pant that projects the rugged look. I think the equator fabric should be more rugged than the meridian fabric used on other pants.
There are some features I do miss. If comparing this pant to the older TNF paramount utility pant which to me was the best designed outdoor pant I miss a few details. Velcro rear pocket stays, an outside zipper pocket next to the front right slash pocket and that wonderfully abrasion resistent paramount nylon fabric which is double layered on the front lap. The paramount utility pant however has been redesigned with an outside zippered pocket but still is cheaper
