Technical insulation that provides a high degree of warmth and wicking performance when worn under a shell or unsurpassed breathability and heat-trapping properties when worn alone.
Our new R3?, made for the cold-weather all-arounder, provides superb insulation on early morning starts and high alpine pushes alike. It?s our warmest nonlaminated (thus more breathable) fleece, with a technical design that excels alone or under a shell. The dense velour face helps stop wind, while the superplush interior grid soothes and adds wicking and warmth. Offset shoulder seams allow for pack-wearing comfort. Pockets: two zippered hand and one chest. 100% recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.
- Body: 12 oz (Polartec? Wind Pro?) micro-fleece polyester face with high loft window-pane grid polyester back. 100% recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program
- New R3? fabric is warm, highly breathable and wind-resistant
- Fabric features a dense velour face for stopping wind and a super-plush velour grid inside for against-the-skin comfort and excellent moisture management
- Offset shoulder and side seams for comfort while wearing a pack

This fleece is great! Very soft and warm. I love the color. It is slightly fitted, though I would not go up a size. I am a size 4 but I don't like things tight, so I buy mediums. The medium fit fine.
I have noticed with both my Patagonia jackets, the sleeves run long.
I am very satisfied and would recommend this to anyone.

I bought this jacket because I wanted a new all-round fleece top, and I haven't wanted to take it off since I got it. The blue harbor color is really striking and goes with everything. A really nice, cozy piece of gear that's good for everything from cross-country skiing to lounging around the house.
