2002-11-30The Best Laptop Case On The Market Today. Over the years, in my search for the perfect laptop case I have owned half a dozen different products. I have tried everything from soft leather laptop briefcases to over priced aluminum cases. The only thing that any of these products had in common is that they provided better looks than protection. Like the other product you may have owned Pelican 1490 is a very great looking case that any CEO would feel comfortable carrying into the boardroom. In addition to its good looks the Pelican 1490 also provides secure storage in the harshest of environments. It is by far, the toughest laptop case on the market today, comes with the standard Pelican lifetime warranty and is guaranteed to provide a lifetime of waterproof, shockproof and dust proof protection.. While this case is a bit more expensive then some other cases on the market, the added expense is well every penny when you consider what you might end up paying in the form of laptop repair or replacement costs if you opt to purchase a less expensive alternative. 2005-08-09Indestructible-looking & sturdy Fit laptop perfectly (and mine's 11X14inches, so was worried it might not accomodate.) Just what I was looking for to protect the computer from dust and debris, and getting knocked around airfields and airports.

Paul - 2007-12-03If its good enought to take to war I deployed with this thing to Afghanistan.If you are like me, and travel in areas that are environmentally tough on laptops this case is for you. Arid regions eat hardware for breakfast. I wouldn't use any other case
