Patagonia recently refined their women's briefs with a new blend of new soft and stretchy Capilene® fabric that remains just as lightweight and moisture-wicking as previous incarnations. Janet - 2007-01-03You gotta love these panties!! I have found these panties to be exceptionally comfortable and ride up free. If I wanted to wear panties that crept and gave me wedgies I'd wear a thong :) I have worn these panties backpacking and found them to be not only comfortable with fit, but they wick moisture and dry quickly when washed out! A bit pricey for panties, AND if they last as well as they fit, it will be worth every penny :)

2006-11-18The best moisture-wicking underwear! I have looked high and low for comfortable moisture-wicking underwear that were comfortable and could hold up to daily use. I wanted something that I would be comfortable doing anything from gardening in the hot, humid NC summers to running 6 miles to just daily use. These cost a bit more, but are worth every cent.

2007-09-09great Never thought I'd spend this much on a pair of underwear, but they are very nice so I purchased several more pairs... they fit well and don't ride up. My hips are 36" and the small and the mediums both work for me.

mjzl - 2007-09-06Pricey, but worth it! These are great fitting and great looking; pricey but worth it. Size runs a bit snug (I'm usually an XS and in these I take a S) and colors do not fade out. these are fabulous for travel, work outs, hiking - actually for everyday!

2007-05-19Best underwear ever! These are more expensive than your run-of-the-mill dept store undies, but they are worth the investment. They last forever, and they are quite possibly the most comfortable, practical underwear ever made! The design changed a bit recently, but I like the new ones even better.

chic girl - 2006-12-02Betther than anything else I just bought these and tried them on for the first time today. They are sOOOOO comfortable, its unbelievable! I read the good reviews and was inspired to try them but I didn't think they would be so good. I am 5.2 and usually wear XS or size 2. I bought size S for these, and they fit perfectly. I wore it on my winter run today and they kept me dry and comfortable. I didn't even notice what I was wearing - all underwear should be made like this. I used to wear expensive lacy underwear but now, I'm switching to capilene patagonia line for my undies! I fully recommend this - they're expensive but they're really worth it if you get them on sale like I did. The only thing is the seams are alittle thick and would probably show if you're wearing skin-tight pants or dress.

I haven't had to resort to a thong since due to their great smooth fit that results in no panty lines. I strongly recommend giving them a shot.

2006-03-19Cute but could be improved and a bit pricey compared to similar. Patagonia should make their underwear without tags. Inside is a scratchy tag that serves no real purpose. once the scratchy tag is removed they are comfortable to wear. I have found another brand that is the same, without a tag and a lot cheaper--but not available in assorted patterns and colors.

2005-04-13Best Underwear on the Planet I have the old style of these briefs and have recently gotten the newer style. Better than before, and I loved the old ones! They wick nicely, breathe well, and wash well. They release stains (mildew from packing them away wet, monthly accidents, etc.) The sit right at about your hip bone and don't ride up in the back, which I find perfect. Having "junk in my trunk" or "ghetto booty", I found the fit in the back to be very comfortable.

2007-10-21They work when you do This is the most comfortable underwear I've owned for hiking and outdoor sports. The wicking is excellent and they don't pull or rub. I've road tested them in weekly hikes and am taking them to Bhutan this fall for a long Trek. A good investment in critical apparel.

Cindy - 2005-06-06You'll forget you're wearing underwear! I loved the old version of these briefs and never imagined that they could be improved upon, but they were! These are softer, stretchier, even more comfortable, and still dry quickly and still don't budge. I've started wearing them for everyday underwear (I buy them on sale) instead of just for hiking and skiing, etc. You'll absolutely love them!

I read some reviews before I purchased (cos after all, they are a bit expensive) and lots of people said they didn't ride up - and they really don't! I also bought the hipster style but I find these ones are just a little better fitting over the bum area. They wash beautifully and dry quickly. I love them and am off to buy more!

J-Me - 2006-02-06Perfect! A Must Have! At first, I was skeptical because I've never bought underwear online before and I like to feel and touch before I buy. But these...I figured I'll try and buy it online, if I don't like them, I've learned my lesson. I sure learned my lesson alright. When I opened my shipment from Altrec.com, the Patagonia Capilene Brief undies were soft to the touch, had a nice stretch to them and were perfect when I tried them on. I'm very particular about undies because I hate the feeling of them riding up. And these Capilene Briefs stayed put. I just love them and plan on buying more.

Kit - 2005-07-11Great looking, plus wedgy-free! Cute. Comfortable. Wicking keeps you nice and dry. No uncomfortable riding up (the dreaded wedgy!), which is a huge deal for me when backpacking -- or any time, really! I just can't get enough of these. My only complaint, which isn't really a complaint, is that I like them so much I'm reluctant to take them backpacking because they might get stained and grimy, and then I'd be less likely to wear them for every day.

Michion - 2007-09-15if you have hips these are the briefs for you finally some briefs that move with me, I'm in the military and we get the patagonia sports bra but not the briefs, I think this company should offer this line on briefs to the Army because it is light weight and moisture proof especially for being in Iraq,

2007-06-13Great underwear for working out or just going out These are a great underlayer for any activity. They do not show through clothes, wick away moisture, and fit perfectly. I usually wear a 5 or 6, and the small fit me perfectly, although I think the medium would have worked too. Although pricey, you receive quality that matches the cost.

Anna - 2005-12-03Great undies!!! I love my patagonias but how cute is it to see a guy reviewing these! I'll bet he's just adorable in his little flowered panties. I bought the prints and a few solids too and these are still my favorite underwear. If you want panties that stay right where you want, never sagging down or bunching up, don't look any further. I know I'm a little more curvy then Robert, at least I hope so, so the stretch is great for covering my backyard. I'll be a patagonia fan as long as they make them! They must be good if boys like them too!
