Tent & Gear Proof Spray-On is a safe, non-aerosol reproofing spray suitable for non-breathable rainwear, tents, backpacks, duffel bags, gaiters and panniers. It adds a water-repellent coating to polyurethane and neoprene-backed nylon, polyester and dacron fabrics.

Hyped to work, and it does! I purchased a North Face Slingshot day backpack from Altrec.com a month or so ago. In the first heavy rainstorm, quite frankly, it leaked to the tune of about 1/16th inch of water in the main compartment and moisture in the smaller compartment. With a coating of Nikwax Tent and Gear Proof the leaking problem was solved. I now have a dry backpack.

Worth every penny. Very easy to use. Provides excellent water protection. Wouldn't use anything else but NikWax products. Cheaper imitators can't compete.

This works axactly as Nikwax advertises. Don't waste your time money on any other waterproofing product. This works axactly as Nikwax advertises and has kept me dry in some of the wetest conditons.
