Fit Tip for the Women's Spirit Tibet High: These boots fit true to size. I typically wear an 8 and the size 8 was perfect with a normal to thick sock. The toggles are slightly difficult to open at first but just require some break-in time.
Description
We took Tibet as inspiration for a boot that stands up to cold and sloppy conditions with distinctive style. Leather-and-toggle closures cinch a water-resistant leather upper with spun wool collar and trim along with full Polartec® lining. 200 grams of Thinsulate® provide added warmth. Vulcanized construction yields a waterproof seal and protective high sidewall. Playfully graphic Snowflake&153; sole has substantial slick-surface traction.

Warm and super comfy I just got back from Alaska. It was very cold, Temps in the single didgets. I wore them every day. They were Super comfortable and super toasty....I will probably order the shorter version as well....love em!!!

Great gift from hubby! My husband bought me these and I love them! I wanted boots that would keep my toes warm and be great to play outside in the snow with my toddler but still look stylish! Because lets face it thats very important!! They are comfy, warm and have great traction, highly recommend!!

like wearing heaters on my feet Bought these for our cold, wet New England winters. Thoroughly pleased. They are amazingly warm and very comfy. Look good too. The toggles are a little difficult to buckle up but not worth removing a star in the rating. I say, buy 'em.

Fun and warm I love my new boots. Mine were just a bit snug when I first tried them on, but after reading the other reviews...I knew they would stretch and they did in just a day. I receive a lot of compliments with them. But, more importantly they are comfortable and easy on, easy off.

Fantastic They are warm and comfy with or with out socks. Half size too big when ordering- fyi, but a great alternative to Uggs. They have held up through a Park City, Utah winter quite nicely. Lov'em!

great cute boots! I am pregnant and was looking for a boot to wear in Alaska that's a little easier to get on and off with lots of traction on the ice. These fit the bill, but have the bonus of being really cute! Way better than the trendy Uggs, these boots are completely functional.

Great Boots for bad weather! Every time I look out and there is snow I take use my boots. They are a great way to fashionably go out without having all the bad things of snow.

amazing and functional So far so good! I've only had them a few days...but I love the way they feel and they are easy pull on and off(for lazy people like me!) I've even worn them with a skirt..cute! Plus...they are completely water proof...

LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! I adore these boots so much I bought another pair this year just in case my original pair wear out! Comfortable, stylish anywhere(many compliments), and feet stay warm and dry in chilly Vermont and Lake Placid, NY! I hardly know I'm wearing boots- they are so lightweight! A Five Star with a plus!

Cute and Tough These are great. Super cute, super warm, and much tougher than they look. I went for an unexpected two hour hike through wet snow and mud and I really expected the boots to be ruined, but they kept my feet warm and, once they dried, looked as good as ever. I wear them almost every day! My only complaint is that the sole is really flat, no arch support. Otherwise really cool boots.

Comfortable and warm! I live in Chicago and I was a bit skeptical on how they would feel in the cold and snow. I got them just in time for a pretty good snow fall and temps in the around zero. They passed with flying colors! So comfortable even with a mid weight sock. I wore them shopping almost all day. Love em!

My favorite boots! I love these boots...coworkers have told me that Merrells are the most comfortable brand you'll ever own & I'm convinced they're right. The boots are warm & comfy, and best of all, great looking! They've stood up well in this awful Chicago winter. Like previous reviews have said, the toggles are difficult to use the first few wears, but they were broken in by day 3 for me.

Great! And holds up in Rain. These are cute, light, warm and really comfy. I use them for walking around in the cold weather, so I wouldn't know how they hold up in extreme conditions. I got the Seal Grey and they are a little brownish, but the colouring also does great with rain for short periods. Also, I went down half a size and that worked out pretty well.

Great shoe This boot is so comfortable and great looking. It would be a five-star, but I'm not sure how it is going to do in the wet snow - great in the dry stuff.
We live in Alaska and we love the Native look.

These look like boats! Very disappointed I just got my boots today- ordered them in espresso size 7. I'm sooo disappointed. The color is gorgeous and the leather is quite soft yet seems durable. However, they're really...ugly! They're big, clunky, boat-like shoes and look very awkward. They make my feet look huge and I wear a size 6.5-7, so I usually don't think twice about how big my feet look! Also, the sole is very thin- I can feel the ground through them. Lining is soft but not cushioned. Dunno how they hold up outside, as I'm probably going to return these. (I wish altrec's return policy was as easy as zappos!) I'm totally disappointed- the looked so cute in the pictures!

I recommend these to everyone! I just spent the weekend at a lake retreat with a lot of walking up and down hills going back and forth from the sleeping lodge to the main lodge for meals and these boots kept my feet snug and cozy and were extremely comfortable.

Best boots I have ever bought!!! These boots are simply amazing.. they are comfortable, cute and extremely warm! I have a syndrome that causes my feet to go numb in even 60 degree weather, and since buying these boots my feet have not gone numb once while walking outside! And I live in freezing Wisconsin! They have great traction in the snow and are really lightweight. I get tons of compliments on them!

cute boots these boots are very cute, warm and comfortable. happy with the purchase. but they need improvement in two areas. first is that they are veRy slippery on ice. second is that they don't have any arc or heel support.

Great Boots Light weight warmth is what I wanted and exactly what these provide. Most warm snow boots are terribly heavy and a chore to lace up. Slip these on and go.

Love them!!! I am in love with my shoes! They are comfortable in the cold weather which is perfect for walking around campus on these cold winter days. I could not love them any more.
