The delicate floral pattern has the optical effect of lace but is integral to the fabric, so it feels supple against the skin and looks smooth beneath formfitting baselayers. Waited and waited, now I wish I hadn't! I was told on more then one occasion that the lowrise thongs would come back. These were available, but seemed a little fancy for what I'm used to. Why did I wait. These little panties are perfect! The fabric is nicer then any of my old ones, what a cute little knit pattern. I'm so sorry I waited so long to get new undies. If your a thong girl like me then by all means get these. Patagonia is as perfect underwear as you will find. They look nice, wash well, wear comfortably, wick perfectly, and don't look to bad if you are caught in them. I'm now hoping for a few more cute colors!!

not impressed they do not fit true to size. I ordered the size I normally wear and they weren't even close to being correct. very disappointing
