Even if you don't live near a desert (and that could change with global warming) you'll appreciate the extra breathable mesh panels and soft VaporWick shell fabric in this Women's Flight Trail Short from The North Face. It's made with a soft and wicking VaporWick Swift shell fabric that resists snagging on unseen branches and overgrown brambles. Along the sides of the Flight Trail Short are breathable VaporWick Optimus panels that promote cross flow ventilation as you run but don't ever leave you feeling overexposed. An internal Cool Stretch liner enhances the overall fit and ventilation. The North Face treated the entire Flight Trail Short with a special antimicrobial finish that minimizes odors even after dozens of washings. The Flight Trail Short is a great design for hiking and running, although many women find that this short is also great for the gym--especially when the air conditioning takes a vacation.

Shorts were great! Worked greta for running in hot and humid weaher with no chafing/rubbing worries! Oneof the most comfortable running shorts I have had in 25 years of running!

Great for the Gym I really like these shorts for running on the treadmill at the gym. They feel cool, smooth, and light when working out in warm indoor conditions.
