Description of Outdoor Research: Women's Ergo Down Sweater
This streamlined insulator has enough warmth to keep you moving in the low digits. It is lighter and less bulky than a typical down jacket, allowing it to function as a layer under a shell. It compresses down into a stuff sack, taking up about the same amount of space as a one-liter water bottle.
- Minimum 650
- fill down insulation
- Lightweight 30D ripstop polyester shell
- Front zipper with internal stormflap
- Two zippered, tricot-lined handwarmer pockets

A perfect jacket for mild winter days. I like everything about this jacket. Especially the fit. It is just as the write up said. I have worn it twice and had several compliments. It is a perfect jacket for mild winter days. I also like the subtle logo on the sleeve.

Love this jacket I like this jacket. The diamond quilting makes it not too puffy. It's form fitting and not too long, since I'm on the borderline between petite and regular. It's also good for layering, since it's not too puffy. A great price, too, compared to other stores. And it arrived with reasonable shipping costs and relatively fast.

This jacket is just as advertised I spent several months looking for a down sweater. I almost went with Patagonia, but tried this one from OR instead. This is truly a down sweater; not too bulky and with enough warmth for a cold day in southeast Utah or for layering when it's very cold. My single complaint is that the elastic banding on the wrists is not nearly snug enough to keep the sleeves from falling down over my hands. I am really a petite size on top, so average length sleeves are just too long. I do need to roll the sleeves back one inch to adjust them to the proper fit. In spite of this, the jacket itself still deserves five stars.

Lifesaver Loved this garment. Took it (in its little, tiny stuff sack)on a cruise to Alaska. There I was on deck at Glacier Bay in the rain and the cold in June. It was perfect. Too cold for a windbreaker, too warm for a down parka...welcome the down sweater. Fabulous layer and enormously valuable in variable weather. Go for it.

I like it...but the sewing is not the best!!!!!! I like the jacket because it is light weight and even works well wearing it in sunny California, but one of the pockets has about an one inch area where the stiching has come undone! I'm definetly not happy with that and hope I have no other problems than that one.

Great down wear OR products fit well, look good, and are beautifully designed. This sweater is a perfect layering weight and looks great on its own. My only complaint is that the edge of the collar is pointy, without any microfleece for softening. Doesn't hurt the look, just my preference for having soft neck-warming material at my neck on cold days. Otherwise 5 stars.

fabulous! Love it, love it, love it! I'd been luting after this jacket for quite some time and finally bought it. It really is great -- light, slim, quiet. Sometimes I'm a medium, sometimes a large, so I ordered the Med since the add said it was roomy. Good call. The large would've been too big. There's still room to bundle underneath if need be.

I love this jacket. The jacket fits well and is extremely cozy. I took it on a trip to Jordan and especially liked the way it can be stored compactly. I just attached it to my bag and it did not get lost or dirty while not in use. I bought one for my daughter and am considering one for my daughter-in-law. I'm just nor sure of the size to get for her. The sleeves on the large are nice and long but not too long. The jacket really looks good and you could wear it almost anywhere.

Perfect down I have been searching for such a sweater jacket for nearly two years. A male friend had a Patagonia down sweater which I loved but I couldn't find one for women. This jacket is toasty warm and perfect by itself or under my ski parka on really cold days. Its not as "puffy" as the other down jackets. Nothing feels like down. I've tried the synthetic stuff and it just doesn't cut it. My jecket did not include the stuff sack as decribed in the description.
