It's not Salomon's Relay Pro, but the Thruster offers a soft look ankle harness and plenty of multi-zone padding that makes it ideal for all-day riding, especially if you're an all-terrain freerider. It's made with a new Integra Highback architecture that's reinforced with a lightweight and adjustable Ti (titanium) rod for optimum energy transmission from your boots to your snowboard edges. Salomon designed the new Integra Highback as an exclusive component for their Relay binding series and it features the most advanced Forward Lean mechanism ever created by the company. The Integra's distinct flex pattern and asymmetrical shape secures the Thruster's lateral support. At the center of the frame you'll find Salomon's Compo-Lite baseplate, the lightest and most advanced baseplate available for Salomon bindings. One of the nice extras is a special SCS + EVA compound insert around the sole that helps absorb high speed vibrations. If you're an advanced or expert rider and you prefer to go all day--especially if you find other performance bindings uncomfortable--the Thruster has features and functionality you'll appreciate through every turn.
