High-tech protection with sleek racer styling, the R.E.D. Frequency Helmet is ultra lightweight and loaded with comfort features for those who crave high speed and an uncompromised fit. Built around an in-molded polycarbonate shell, the R.E.D. Frequency ski and snowboard helmet is lighter than injection molded models, contributing to the feather-light feel that makes you nearly forget that the helmet is on. Also contributing to the unencumbered feeling is a host of adjustable comfort features to give you the exact fit you desire. A Softfit™ dual component liner conforms to the shape of your head so you don't feel annoying pressure points as you bounce through the bumps. To get a snug fit, the MC2™, Mechanical Fit and Comfort System, adjusts the liner's circumference to match your head precisely, and a Zip Clip™ ratcheting chin buckle offers fine-tuning so that the strap is not too loose, nor too tight. Quick Clip™ ear pads on the R.E.D. Frequency Helmet provide ear muff-like protection from stinging wind chill and easily remove for comfort in mild conditions or to swap out for the speaker equipped Audex™ Audio Ear Pad Accessory. And not to be forgotten, Burton's R.E.D. Frequency Helmet includes Climacontrol™ venting, a series of screened vents across the top of the helmet that close partially or all the way, depending on the amount of air intake that makes you the most comfortable.

awesome helmet I've used this helmet 4 times. The vents are great and the plugs make it a really warm helmet on days with your 30 mph winds. The helmet has the circumference adjuster which is awesome when you are going from wearing a beanie to no beanie and is easy to do with the helmet on. It comes with extra padding to make sure the fit is perfect. Only thing I don't like is on my head the chin strap sits back on my neck so I have to take the straps off the ear pads so they are tilted to the front of my head and the ear pads do not totally cover the front of my ears but I wear a beanie so it doesn't bother me! Overall, a very good helmet!

Great helmet I've used this helmet since the beginning of the season, and love it. The vents and plugs make it easy to adjust airflow to the noggin'. The earpads are large and have substantial padding to keep out the cold. The helmet is also adjustable to the circumference of your head, so you get a perfect fit.

Cool and Comfortable This helmet fits great and the ability to open and close the vents with the simple slide of a lever makes it great for those warm days and those cold lift rides to the top.
