Nice utensils but they bend a bit too easily

Overall, I am very happy with my MSR titanium camping fork and spoon. They weigh next to nothing and are more durable than plastic, which means no more melted spoons and broken forks! They also have a handy, removable cable loop that allows me to attach/hang them on virtually anything and they are just long enough to reach the bottom of my MH instant meal packs (too bad they don't fit in my MSR Reactor camp stove). I could've gotten a titanium spork for half the price, but I don't like sporks because they don't seem to do either job very well. Plus, I am often preparing/eating more than one type of food at once, so I prefer having two different utensils. That being said, I don't see why they didn't make these just a tad bit thicker?! The additional weight would have been absolutely unnoticeable and they wouldn't be so easy to bend. I quickly learned to keep them in the pocket on the side of my Gregory Baltoro 70 backpack so they don't get bent in the main compartment. I've even bent the fork while eating! Admittedly, I'm not a very delicate eater and I was using the fork for the wrong purpose. Anyway, I just bent it back and continued my feeding frenzy! Ultimately, these utensils are light, functional, and a definite upgrade from plastic.

The MSR Titan Fork and Spoon are excellent for lightweight backpacking utensils. They are durable and take up zero space in your pack. Altrec also got my order to me in record time and I was able to use the utensils earlier than I thought I would. All around top notch!

Well made utensils. Nice for backpacking since they are light weighted. Longer that what I expected. Beautifully finished, not that shiny as stainless ones. I especially like the fork.

Lightweight and strong. Items not foldable therefore can't be incorporated/stowed into most cooking systems, but still easy to pack. Good length for reaching into pots without being too long.

Just got through using these utensils on a backpack trip. They are extremely lightweight (titanium) and appear to be well made. They should last me several years on backpack trips. Also they are easy to clean.

Solid set of utensils. Threaded loop holds fork and spoon together. Light weight and incredible durable. Highly recommend this set.

These are great backpacking utensils when you are trying to count every ounce in your pack! Very light (about 1oz without the ring, if you're counting) and yet very strong.

It was nice to have a spoon for scooping and a decent fork for spearing. Silverware doesn't get any stronger or lighter than this set.

Stronger than the free plastic spoons you get at the deli but lighter than the family silver. I probably use the spoon 99% of the time. Hardly ever use the fork. Like it better than a spork.

The set of titanium fork and spoon are extremely light and durable. Inexpensive and really convenient with the removable threaded ring for keeping them together for travel. But the best part is they add a little rugged luxury to the outdoors. I absolutely love 'em.

Although I now use a titanium spork, this MSR pair has come in real handy making hot chocolate and chowing down freeze dried spaghetti and meat sauce. If you feel you need both a spoon and a fork, these are no-brainers.
