A Magazine for all Ages.
The text and pictures are great! It seems like on every other page there is picture that is shot so uniquely it would be nice if you could order a print for your wall. The magazine quickly became my two year old son's favorite where it is now on his shelf more than mine. If you do not feel like getting up and out of your La-Z-Boy to head for the great outdoors after looking through an issue, you better check your pulse then call 911.

I love this mag.
I had a one year subscription to this mag before, so when I saw it as an incentive to purchase on Altrec, I quickly found something to purchase. This magazine has the quality you would expect from National Geographic. Sure it has ads, but its not all ads. The photos are great, the stories are in line with what modern day adventureres are looking for. Awesome!

This is a super magazine!

Most adventure mags have a "wish-you-were-here(but,really, we know you never will be)" attitude. And you still get vivid reporting from some of the best outdoor journalists and sponsored athletes. But you also get real-world accounts from average people taking on the biggest adventures of their lives. It covers everything from backyard adventures to cross-country trips to international treks; on land, over water, through the air, under the earth- whatever it takes to get there. Through it all, the folks at National Geographic not only show you how someone else did it, they give you the info you need to get YOU there. I thoroughly enjoy this mag. It gives me the inspiration to break away from my usual play spots and games, try out some new ones and challenge myself to conquer the next level. It's already helped me to make some calls and plan out some great solo and family trips for next year.
