I am in the Biofuel industry collecting waste vegetable oil and my work boots were getting disgusting and stinky. These overshoes are great. I am looking forward to my next Neos and Altrec purchase.

I needed something to go over my dress shoes on those days when the weather is nasty but I still need to arrive at work dressed up and ready to go. These are the perfect solution for those days that you need to wear shoes that are not necessarily intended for the worst weather conditions.

had an older pair for many years: had great traction and offered great protection from wet snow. swore by them. the newer version has a different sole and gets less traction on ice under snow (to be fair, could be unusually bad snow-on-ice effect this year compared to other years). it also seems more flimsy than the older version. still, compared to lugging around pounds of very heavy snow boots on your feet, they're a reasonable alternative. Also, easily taking them off when you get to where you're going (office etc) and walking in your normal shoes is a definite plus.

I wore my new Neros on a metal detecting hunt on muddy fields around Culpeper Virginia. They had great traction and kept my feet dry. Easy to remove and clean when I got back to my motel room. I missed with my very sharp digging shovel and hit my left boot. I figured it would be cut badly. It was only scratched slightly. I wiped off the red mud when I got home and they look new again.
