favorite running shoes

I have purchased them for my husband, who prefers women's running shoes because they are narrower. He finds that they are very lightweight, yet offer an acceptable level of support (he trains for a half marathon and runs outside). He first found out about them in Runner's magazine, where they received a good review. We bought three pairs so far, and they last well.

Will try another new balance shoe

I saw multiple fast USATF team runners wearing this shoe at a XC race on a dirt trail so I thought I would try them without diligent research. When I tried them on, it was too snug on the right foot particularly the outside of the toe box. However the left foot feels pretty good. then I found out the heel drop is 11 mm, so instead of trying a half size larger I am going to order the NB wrc 1600 which is only a 6mm toe drop and also lightweight but good for marathons. I like new balance shoes and hope I find a pair that works. Incidentally, I feel that the fit of these shoes is too similar to my Nike Lunaracer2 which impinges on my right little toe side too much, so I dont wear those anymore either.
Pros: lightweight, Cons: small toe box, too much heel to toe dropWrite a review for the New Balance WR1400 Running Shoes here.
