The Nike ACG Air Tumalo is the ideal choice for discerning hardcore backcountry athletes who demand support with exceptionally lightweight comfort. If you like to fast pack without the pack and prefer a little more coverage than most typical light hiking boots, the Air Tumalo is your boot. Beneath the waterproof Nubuck leather upper is a GORE-TEX® membrane system that helps transfer moisture from the inside to the outside. An encapsulated Air Sole unit in the heel offers incredible cushioning and substantial energy return. The internal Speed Plate shank provides plenty of torsional rigidity without the excess weight. This boot scoots--but it doesn't leave you feeling like its going to fall apart miles from the trailhead.
