I went shopping for these exact shoes on several occasions over the years, only to be distracted once in the store, by the dazzle of the other brands.
My eyes glazed over and I bought the ASICS, then the MIZUNO and once even Reeboks.
Last month I walked boldly into the store, picked up a pair of Pegasus 25's and made it to the check-out quickly, without looking around very much.
I am pleased, I knew in my gut that these were the right shoes, and they have proven to be exactly that.
I am 145lbs. neutral, 5'10".

Ive been running and road racing for 35 years and I've used the Air Pegasus for most of my running years. The shoe fits my running style and it has actually kept me injury free. For me there is only one running shoe and its THE AIR PEGASUS. Also on a different note, I want to personally thank your staff for the help they gave me on my last order. With so many other company employees that do not care about customer service it was a pleasure during business with your Staff! Thanks and Merry Christmas

These were the most comfortable shoes I tried on at Hanson's by far. I wasn't convinced to try a Nike but they felt very airy and comfortable, and left plenty of room in the fore-shoe for my foot to spread, whereas the Brooks seems too narrow and strict. I ran 2.5 miles on a treadmill and must say my joints are pretty stiff today, leading me to believe that the "shock" does traverse back into the body more. I had Mizunos but never really LOVED them, felt that they held me back. I love the Nike look and feel, but am worried about the longer term durability as I have heard they can tend to not last long? Anyone else heard this or had a bad experience? I am 75-85% convinced NOT to return these and to use them for the next 4-6 months!
