Nike Men's Air Structure Triax Running Shoe
Newly enhanced with a lighter profile for speedwork training and racing, the Nike Air Structure Triax running shoe offers an exceptional midfoot fit with emphasis on cushion and stability. This important balance makes the Nike Air Structure Triax an excellent choice for cross training and competition, especially for runners concerned with pronation issues (basically the flattening of the arch that creates stress along the medial, or inside of your foot). Nike used a decoupled polyurethane crash pad in the forefoot with a dual density foot bridge and a heel Air Sole unit to compensate for pronation, but reinforced the gap between the two cushions with a supportive and lightweight midfoot shank. Compared to other Nike running shoes, the Air Structure Triax provides the same amount of cushion found in other Air series footwear, but the Triax support is practically off the chart. If you're concerned about lower leg issues and potential knee concerns, the Air Structure Triax could be a new personal best in pronation control.

This shoe fits me - almost - as if made for my feet. Runs narrow in the medium width and nice room in the toebox. Just enough stability and great cushioning. Biggest negative is longevity (lack, really). I only get 200-250 ... but then I weigh around 200.

These shoes have plenty of support and are extremely comfortable. My physical therapist recommended shoes of this type, and I can definitely tell the difference. My ankles, arches, and knees all feel better, since I started using the Air Structures.
My only problem is that the things are ostentatious. Come on Nike, 13-year-olds are not buying these shoes! You don't have to cover them with all of the bright colors, noisy plastic textures, and silver trim.
