excellent running shoe
these shoes were ranked the best by consumer reports and they live up to their ranking. Great running shoe
Good Cushioning shoe for
This is a good stable cushioning shoe that helps you rack up some mileage if you are a bigger frame. I trained in a pair for a 10mile race and have had 3 pairs. I am 6'2" and 223 so it is helpful to get the cushion and keep stability. Other shoes I have tried feel "thinner" and feel like they wear down quicker. It fits to size.
Great Cushion
I never even considered buying Nike shoes before I tried on a pair of the Vomero 2. I was turned off by the feel of the golf shoes. I am a little overweight, 6'1 225 lb., so the cushion in the shoes is really appreciated. Love this shoe!!!!!!

Great shoes!
My husband loves them. Says they are probably the most impact-cushioned sneaker he has ever worn. Fits true to size. The heel cushioning is more than he had with other sneakers, plus inserts. However, not so cushioned that you don't feel in contact with the ground. He usually runs on pavement and it provides great support and cushioning. Recommend these very highly.
Well-cushioned, comfortable shoe for long-distance running
I've experienced no blisters with these great-fitting shoes during my first 50 miles, which have consisted of 8 and 15 mile runs. The shoes didn't even require a wearing-in phase. The cushioning is superb in the heel, but it may be just a bit lacking in the forefoot. Still, I've endured no lasting pain in my feet, and my hip and knee joints seem to fair much better with these shoes.
Great Running She for the Neutral Runner
I like this shoe because it is a top quality running shoe with superb cushioning. It is relatively light at about 11.5 ounces. The shoe feels great on my foot and it has an adequate toe box for me even though it is only offered in D width. I usually wear EE width if they are offered. Excellent 360 degree reflectivity makes this a good choice for running in low light conditions.
Most comfortable running shoe
I bought these for my boyfriend after reading all the great reviews and I am so glad I did. He absolutely loves them. He can't say enough about how comfortable they are...especially in the heel area.
Excellent shoes.
This is about the 40th pair of Nike shoes I have purchased. The first 39 pairs were size 11. This one is a size 10. These are great shoes and run about one size larger than all the others.
Excellent shoe
I needed a neutral shoe with good support (neutral +). Just finished a half marathon in these, they were great. Good support and very comfortable. I have not heard anyone complain about this model yet.
Very comfortable shoe...
The Nike Vomero2 is a very comfortable shoe with a great deal of cushioning in the forefoot and the heel. This shoe has a very wide toe box for a Nike product and has accomodated the bunions on both of my feet. Altrec had the best price for this shoe that I could find.
Air Vormer +2
This is my 3rd pair and these are a great cushioned neutral shoe. Comprable to Asics Gel Nimbus 9, but better for my feet and ride. I run approximately 25 miles per week and the only negative is that these shoes wear out too quickly.
Extremely pleased
I've bought several pairs of running/hiking shoes from Altrec and am always impressed with the service and help. These shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn, so I ordered a second pair. I haven't had them long enough to attest to the durability, but at this time I'm very satisfied.
Amazing Running shoe!
This has to be the most comfortable running shoe I have ever worn. I just turned 42 and wanted to get back into running and wanted a quality running shoe. After doing a lot of research on shoes and reading great reviews on the Nike Vomero+2 I decided to order a pair. I ran for many years in my younger days and have to say these shoes are amazing, it's like you have a pair of pillows strapped to your feet. Since buying them I have told everyone I know to buy a pair..definitely worth the money and Altrec has the best prices on the web!
Best shoe ever
i've been running for over 25 years and this may be the best shoe i've ever had.
Very nice comfortable run.
I was running w/ Air Pegasus and made the switch. I am glad I did. The Air Vomero+2 has helped with cushioning and alleviated my sore knees after long runs.
Light weight
The impact distribution is excellent, light weight, easy on the knees and back.
very good shoe--wears quickly
had 6 pairs of this shoe and i love it. The only thing is that they do wear quite quickly.
Finally!
I am 6'3" and weigh 275 pounds so to say I need cushioning is an understatement. The Vomero is a plush ride and it is the only shoe that I have run in since my plantar fasciotomy procedure that does not remind me of the surgery each time my foot strikes the ground. I hope that Nike will keep this model "as is" for a long time to come. There are certainly other great shoes on the market but the Vomero is the best for the big frame runner with neutral pronation.
Vomero
Great shoe! Very comfortable! I could feel nothing but cushion and gave me great support for my run!
Excellent Neutral Cushion Trainer
Really happy with this shoe. I just got my 2nd pair. I got about 300 miles on the first pair before I decided to swap them out. I was pretty overweight for 1/2 the miles. I expect this pair may last a little bit longer since I'm close to ideal weight.
If you have worn nike's and need a neutral trainer, I would highly recommend.
Good Cushion and Support
I am not an avid runner but I have to do it frequently. These shoes are very shock absorbent and fit well. The soles do wear out quickly. I bought the Vomero 1 and wore through the soles. I plan to buy another pair.
Great neutral cushioniing shoe
I've been running in a shoe with far less cushioning than these, so it took me a few runs to get use to them. Post break in (me, not the shoes) the shoes have been great and I'm really enjoying the added cushioning. If you like a really roomy toe box these probably aren't the shoes for you but they have plenty of room for most.
Ultimate Neutral Cushion Running Shoe
This is my second pair of these puppies. They offer no guidance, no support, just a super cushy shoe with a killer fit. Even the tongue stays put when you run!
They ain't really fast, and because the sole has so little Carbon rubber they won't last too long on rough surfaces.
So if you like 'em, better order another pair before Nike changes them
(The Vomero 1, not as comfy).
For me, without a doubt, the most comfortable running shoe I've ever experienced.
Good shoe--large toe box
This is my third pair of Vomero shoes, although the first two pair were the original Vomero vs. the Vomero 2. It's solid shoe with ample cushioning that I use for marathon training. I'm a moderate weight/speed runner (170 lbs./3:20 marathon) but after 30 years of running I really appreciate the cushioning this shoe delivers. Sole wear is good. Note: this pair seems to run about 1/2 size large and the shoe seem to be generally wider than the original Vomero.
it's good
It's good to see that NIKE is improving it's sports wear
Looks great, feels great, but no stablity
Loved the look of these shoes for a while and wanted a new pair of Nike+ for the nano. They look amazing, feel great walking around, but my over pronation in my right foot didn't work well at on street running. I use these in the gym for lifting and light treadmill work but I'll stick to the Air Pegasus + for my outdoor running. As always Altrec was awesome in regards to price and shipping!
Great cushioning and snug fit - ideal for my long runs
Whilst these shoes are heavier than what I'm used to (nike Zoom Elites) the cushioning is excellent - my main priority at present is to run pain free.
Heaps of room in the toe box (no more black toe nails since switching to Nike!), snug fit in the heel and ventilation is also very good.
Easy to wear in - within a week of receiving these shoes I was running up to 2 hours with no blisters or hot spots in the sock liner.
Once again a very satisfied Nike customer.
My finace loves these shoes...
This is the 2nd pair we have purchased and he loves them. He has ran a marathon in them and thinks there are the most comfortable.
