I have owned a bunch of the Nike compression shorts and they are definitely comfortable for working out, sports, snowboarding, etc. In the short term, they are a good buy and value. However, over time the quality (or lack of) really shows and things like seams coming apart, waistband elasticity becoming permanently stretched out, etc. start happening. I wouldn't pay full retail for them, but when there is a good deal or sale like I got with Altrec I don't mind going with them. I have also owned Under Armour compression shorts and I feel that those are much better quality. My UA ones have lasted 6+ years now with HIGH usage and are still in great condition. January 23, 2012
Best Compression Short I have tried a variety of compression shorts over the years and would defintiely say these are my personal favorite. Beyond that, they always fit true to size. They are snug without cutting into my leg or leaving behind red stripes. I have used them from soccer to football to cycling and by themselves with a tank top to freak people out in public...j/k... Would recommend them to anyone who wants a perfect compression short for every sport!! November 2, 2011

All around great Great for working out with or just to wear to work! I think they might run a bit small. I usually wear an XL, but went with the XXL. Fits snug, but not tight. August 13, 2011
