Nike Men's Straprunner V Sandal

I love these sandals as summer replacements for my sneakers. I live in Manhattan and I love to walk. I use these sandals to walk from 57th Street to 98th Street. If your an urban dweller such as myself and looking for more breathable solution without sacrifacing the arch support, comfort and style of sneakers. Then you should really look into getting these sandals.

My husband's feet are numb because of health issues. He loves wearing the straprunners. He orginally bought two pair and once we found them online, he ordered four more pair. His only complaint is that the velcro gets loose after wearing them for a year! He is ordering two more pair today.

I wear sandals almost year round. I heard that these were cvomfortable for people who normally wear orthotics. I put them on and they have the most wonderful feel to them. My high instep is fully supported, but they are still very 'cushiony'. They have a spring to them that is hard to describe. I also like the turned up toe; it helps to keep dirt and rocks out like I have gotten with other sandals.

Just got the straprunners. They feel so different from the sandals I have been wearing. Great support in arch and cusioning in the footbed...the others feel like a piece of cardboard compared. I do get to wear sandals at work; these will probably be on my feet year round

I have had heel spur for over 15 years, which fail to be controlled by the use of podiatrist presecribed orthotics. With the daily use of Straprunner V, the pain is nearly completely controlled. After I purchased the first one in a local store. I bought a second one. Then I went ahead and ordered 3 pairs at Altrec.com.
It is really very well designed with good support and extremely comfortable.

I purchased these sandals for use while visiting various water parks in order to prevent the abuse of walking on the cement bare foot. These are great both in and out of the water. They are a true fit in size and do not retain water keeping them light on the feet!

These shoes are so comfortable. I bought a pair several years ago when they first came out, since then I have looked and looked and couldn't find them. I just got these, but they are very comfortable and seem very rugged in comparison to other sandals I've gotten. I bought them for a trip I'm taking and I think they will work out perfectly. I've had other ACG shoes before. I think it would be hard to beat this sandal for the price. I've seen other sandals that have been over-priced for the quality. These seem to be good quality for the buck.
On an Altrec note: The other customer is right...you can't beat Altrec's Customer Service.

I used to buy Teva sandals once a year because they would just wear out in that time. In 2003 I bought Nike ACG sandals, and only now purchased these Straprunners because the tread on my old ACGs is finally worn down. From the top, they still look new.
I haven't used the Straprunners a whole lot yet, but they are lighter and of a "lower profile" than my old ACGs.

Overall the Sandals are very comforatable. The Cushioning makes a big difference. Unfortunately these sandals do run small- my Big toe comes very close to the end of the sandal.

I bought the Straprunner sandals for both of my teenaged sons and they liked them. My only comment was that I bought the sandals in their regular shoe size and the sandals ran large. Because we were leaving on vacation, and getting a smaller size meant returning, etc., we went with the sizes as ordered. Otherwise, good value.

I have been using the NIKE ACG for some time. They are a great walking shoe, but like another person who commented on the sandal, they seem to be making them smaller in almost everyway. The strap got shorter and the length got shorter. Whats up NIKE, is this anyway to cut costs?

I bought a pair of NikeACG sandals before this model. Those had a better sole than this because of the rubber!! They had a continous zigzag lines - from side to side - all made of the same rubber. Perfect adhering to soil. Nice looking, perfect walking sensation. These have the same nice shape, the same nice straps, the same high quality .... but !!! I hope you back in some details. Always NIKE.

Very nice sandals; very comfy and easy to secure with velcro ties. The size I got may be a little small for my feet, but 1 size bigger may be too large. It has funny shape , the toe tip could have been designed to point more towards the RHS as to fit the big toe. Nice but nor perfect for my feet shape.

I bought these to replace an eariler pair of AGC sandals, and I'm basically happy with them. I would prefer to have the back strap open, which these don't, that's the only reason I didn't give them the highest rating. I can see that some would prefer the back strap to be without an opening.
The newer footbed is softer and more pliant than the older one, and seems to be easier to keep clean, both big pluses.

I bought these at a local sporting store and had to return them because they felt tight and uncomfortable. They were both small and narrow, with my toes almost reaching the end. Definitely won't recommend it.

love all acg foot wear but the velcro on the straps i never had any luck with im on mt 3rd pair and you cant beet the comfort!!! wish they would make something other than velcro.. still would buy it again. the same with the acg shoes 6 months at best and there is nothing left but wont buy anything else!!!! cant beat altrecs service!!!

This is my third pair of Nike ACG sandals. Even though I ordered the same size of the previous sandals, this style seems to be at least a half size smaller.

What they don't say about these sandals is the hardware (i.e. strap loops) are made of a plastic material. When I received my sandals one rectangle strap loop was broken therefore I had to return them for an exchange. Would prefer if the loops were made of metal instead of plastic that cinches the strap your feet.

There isn't enough velcro on the strap, when I tried to put them on the velcro on the strap did not line up, so I can't even wear them.
I still have a pair of Nike ACG's from 2 years ago that I wear all the time, there is more velcro on them & they strap on fine.
