I'm a 'heavy-footed' runner, especially for my size. As a result I've been cursed with chronic knee issues. After trying lots of shoes - Asics 2140, Asics Cumulus, Nike Pegasus, etc I finally found a shoe that has allowed me to train for and complete 3 marathons with out injury (including qualifying and running Boston). No shoe has as much cushioning as the Nike Vomero. This is my 6th pair of Nike Vomero shoes. Highly recommended for the runner that needs to minimize the impact of distance running with a neutral, cushioning shoe.Pros: cushioning, Cons: not the lightest

I have been a New Balance and Asics guy for years, but these looked great and I have heard great things about Nike running shoes....they are light weight, a snug but comfortable fit, very stylish, and have good spring to them. I am very satisfied. I generally wear a 10.5, ordered a 10.5, and they are perfect.
Big step up from Vomero 6

I've been buying Nike Vomeros ever since the original came out, using them both for running and casual use. For running - the Vomero 7 seems to have increased cushioning on its predecessors, with no noticeable gain in weight. For a heavier runner like myself, with a neutral gait, the shoe is fantastic. I tend to run most days (treadmill during the week, forest at weekends) clocking up 30+ miles a week - the shoes are beyond comfortable, and tread lasts. For casual use - the grey/yellow goes great with jeans.
Black/ Wolf Grey/ Black, Stealth/ Cool Grey/ White/ Chrome Yellow and Wolf Grey/ Grey/ White/ Orange.
