High C/P GPS Watch
February 22, 2013
This watch is so easy to use, GPS location system is accurate and it's good looking as well. The only thing bother me is you have to update GPS files before you run or it takes lots time searching GPS signal. Overall it's a good watch with a great price.

I've had my eye on this watch for a while, but not at the normal retail price. Altrec made the decision VERY easy with its discounted price! This watch has just about all the features you would want in a sports watch and paired with the heart rate monitor, it becomes one heck of a fitness tool. So get it, with the price and quality, you won't be disappointed.

Ditch the Armband!

I loved the traceability of Nike+, but my Nano didn't have GPS and obviously couldn't utilize the mapping features of the site. I got the Nike+ GPS app on my iPhone, but who wants to run long distance with their iPhone in their hand? And armbands drive me absolutely crazy; it's an impossible feat to find a comfortable and functional one! So what's the solution? The Nike+ Sportswatch GPS! It's comfortable, easy to use and has a cool design (in my opinion). Obviously a major dependency of the product is the GPS signal so if you run in places with little to no signal it may not work as well. Having a Nike+ sensor in your shoe will help when there is weak GPS signal, but it won't be as accurate as true GPS. Luckily I run routes with good signals so I have never had any issues. The build in USB plug makes uploading from your watch to your computer so easy. It is a bit pricy, but for me it was well worth it to be able to ditch all the things slowing down my running while increasing my route accuracy. A good friend of mine got this watch as well and has similar feelings about it as I do. We would both recommend it to anyone looking for something to track their running. Time to ditch that armband!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: CostGreat investment

This watch was wonderful on rainy days and cold weather runs, and provides good durability. The Nike+Sport watch GPS has a sleek design which is light weight and comfortable to wear for every day use. The watch has good features, such as a variety of items on display while running with it and has a easy to use and interchangeable screen that allows you to see your distance ran on the big screen, as well as your pace or elapsed time on the top. I really enjoy the Nike online feature which allows you to get a visual on your weekly or monthly runs once the watch is plugged into your computer. The battery life lasts a good amount of time, but be sure to turn the GPS function off and switch to foot-pod to save battery life. One function I would add to this watch is to have more items showing on the screen at once, such as the distance, calories, and pace all at once so that you wouldn't have to push the button to switch views so often. I would highly recommend this watch to a friend.
