The Air Deschutz Guide II features a highly technical and amazingly lightweight design that makes it ideal for wading, canyoneering, or portaging white water gear. It's the water sandal of choice for those long walks up the beach that turn into daylong expeditions--especially if you find yourself racing against the incoming tide during the return trip. The sticky rubber Vibram wet traction sole latches onto slick and uneven terrain with an exceptional grip. These sandals were purchased as a birthday gift, but I have had several pairs of the these sandals and I love them. Comfortable, extra grippy on rocks and wear well. I am a river guide and these are the best sandals I have ever owned. I would recommend them for any one for work or casual wear.

These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. I've had four pair of them, and have used them on long river trips as well as around the house. With the earlier version, the only problem I had was that the sole developed "blisters" or bubbles which eventually cracked. This newer version does not have the vertical heel attachment strap that the older ones did, and I blame that change for the fact that my new pair ripped during its first week of hard use. The shoe got stuck in mud, and when I pulled it loose, the rear side attachment simply ripped in two. I'll be looking for a different sandal next time.

Great sandals!
I went in them through jungles, rivers, beaches - very durable shoes, keep a perfect contact even with slippery stones in water!
It's only a little uncomfortable when sand gets in them, which is totally natural.

I finally found a comfortable sandal to replace my old ACG's.
I love that it's lightweight, has great traction, and my feet don't slip.
Would love it more if the footbed was more cusioned like my previous ACG's. All in all a great sandal.
