Not the most durable, but overall a great shoe!
January 20, 2013
You're probably a pretty serious runner if you're looking at these shoes. If you are and you're looking for a shoe to help shave a little time off your road racing PRs, look no further. This is one of Nike's best light-weight racing flats and it has enough cushion that it could even be used for a marathon if you really want (I've gotten them out for long runs in the ballpark of a marathon distance without problem). This shoe would probably be best only for those people who are not over-weight (you would want more support if you're not in excellent shape), but if you're fit and ready for a PR, this will work for you. Please keep in mind that like most Nikes, the toe box is pretty narrow, so if you have a problem with Nikes in general, this will not be an exception. These aren't designed to last forever, but I have gotten a pair of them up to somewhere between 500 and 600 miles before they blew out, which is really not so bad for a racing flat.Pros: super light-weight, extremely well cushioned for a super light shoe, neutral, Cons: not very durable, toe box is a little narrow
