I have a lot of workout outfit that became.. easily stinkable over the time. this helped prevent the smell to come back after heavy work out! more I use it, better it worked. I love it!

I use synthetic type underwear in the winters because I work outdoors. They keep me really warm and dry. I did not know that regular detergent was hindering the performance of my gear, and I had noticed that my body sweat wasn't getting through the fabric that well as it did when I first got it. So, after buying other products from Altrec, I came across this Base Wash. I took all my under wear gear and washed it in this stuff and all I can say is that the other reviews are right. Cleans really well, smells clean and I could tell by just handling the garments that they will work like they did when I first bought them. I will have to wait till the next coming winter to say for sure, but I know given their other products that it will not let me down!

Clean smell

After using this a couple of times I relaize the fabric of the running clothes smell a lot better. The running gear used to keep odors in even after they were washed (regular laundry detergent) but this works so much better, odors are gone and clothes smell fresh again.

This stuff is great for getting rid of the Stink in base layer clothing infact my wife like this so much that she uses it on all the whites to keep them smelling fresh.

Works well. I have sensitive skin though and found it's important not to use too much or it's somewhat irritating for layers that touch my skin. Great when used in appropriate amounts!

My son rows 5 days a week and comes home sweaty. His wet close sometimes sit for days before being washed. Before using Base Wash, his closes would not always smell good, even after repeated washes with commercial cleaners. Now that we are using Base Wash, his close smell clean, and the complaints have ended.

Base wash works just as advertised, I can definitely notice a difference in the amount of sweat that my UA cold gear bases pull off my body after using this vs plain detergent for the past few years. 2 small annoyances with the product - it has an odd chemical smell that seems to linger in the gear (when you open the bottle, you'll understand) and you have to make sure to use the extra rinse cycle - otherwise, your dark colors have white/gray residue on them in odd places - a rewash w/ nothing but water took care of it, but would have been nice to specify on the bottle directions!
