I use it on work gloves and riding gloves. Keeps my leather work gloves in good condition through a season of cutting, splitting and stacking firewood. I always squish it around some in the tube to mix it up good before applying because it seems to separate just a bit if it's been sitting for a while.

SHAKE IT OUT! Seriously do that until you feel it is all completely mixed in the bottle. You will hear that swishing sound throughout. I didn't think the formula would be so liquidy as it is, but it did the job. I spread one layer over my dark brown classic Sperry shoes (they absorb water like a sponge). It absorbed very quickly and with the ease of not having to warm up anything. At first, it looked much darker when spread on, but it gradually got back to the original color. On the dark brown shoes, it might've gotten darker by a smidgen. Most would barely notice the difference. I personally only decided to finish it at one coat. I ran it it under the sink and the water glides right off. The last tiny droplets hanging onto the shoes seemed to have absorbed into the shoe a little bit. If that is a problem, another coat should completely fix that. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to seal their leather products since it is easy and quick to apply. Plus there's no waiting period. HEY!!

This worked very well at keeping my boots dry. They were leaking, and an application of this solved the problem. The downside is that it did darken the leather, and gave it a very waxy appearance. So it depends on your priorities-- aesthetics or functionality. Also, the product is kind of separated. I'd recommend giving it a really good shaking/mixing before application.
