works well
used this to clean my basketball shoes - got most of the dirt and markings off, but isn't strong enough to get some off. i do recommend this product though!

works great, definitely improved the loft of the down as well.
I heard that you could use a light detergent to wash your Footwear and do not do it. Keeps up the loft and the life of the Footwear. Use a front loading washer/dryer though if possible

Could not be any more happier with a product. My motocross boots had 6 month old mud on them. They cleaned up perfect. thanks for the tech help on product usage.

good for removing road grime
Although it will darken leather slightly, it will remove dirt and other grime from the trail. Not a good for things that have a greasy residue.

changed leather color
I used the cleanning gel to clean my Merrell Switchback Gortex hiking boots I just bought ($150). Well, it changed the leather from light brown to dark brown. I kind of like the dark color. Just be aware of the color change. I do not think it does too much good to use the gel to clean. I think Nikwax Aqueous Wax is good enough. You can just clean the boots with clean water and apply the wax.

Great for prepping shoes
This product is great for getting you shoes prepped to apply the nikwax waterproofing. I have been using both on the same boots now for over 3 years and my leather boots are still waterproof despite heavy usage.
