2.2 Bill's Dry Bag 5 5 10 10
good quality dry bag I purchased this for our family canoeing trip on the mid-section of Russian river. It's a perfect size to put everything there for four of us. It's durable, handy if you don't mind the weight. It's kind of heavy after you packed everything in. Plus, it's really hard to find things once packed it in. I had to dig everything out when I need something during the ride. If it's for a short trip or ride, I would recommend the smaller size and with the see through window or transparent one. Well designed, versatile bag Like the other NRS Bill's Bags we own and use we found this one every bit as rugged and versatile. Whether on the roof rack of the truck or on the raft these bags are user friendly and easy to trust. My only concern was the extra space the shoulder straps require in cramped quarters. They can, however, be cinched down quite tightly. To date the portability has far out weighted any loss of storage room. August 24, 2010
Perfect bag for all your outdoor needs I needed a bag for my rafting trip on the Salmon river, but I also wanted a bag that I could use for hunting and camping. This bag is it, it's big enough for all my clothes and miscellaneous stuff. Small enough to fit on the airplane, and durable to take the abuse I give it. Great price, plus the backpack straps are sooo convenient. Shipped fast, no hassles. March 28, 2010
Exactly what I was looking for Perfect match for my needs. Better quality than I expected. I believe this bag will last a long time. Strongly recommend. March 25, 2010
super good bill's bag for the price. Just took this pack expedition kayaking through the lower canyons of the rio grande and it held up great. the backpack strap options make it very versatile to tote around and they're really well attached. this is a great dry-bag for the price and when rolled right, it'll keep all your stuff dry, even in a chaotic wet exit. Great bag for a good price. I am a DC bike messenger who uses a dry bag to carry and deliver my packages .I needed a new bag after wearing out my old one .After searching the deals online ,I decided to purchase a Bills bag from Altrec .com .This bag is just what i need ;large enough to carry all I have and very durable .I am pleased to not spend three times as much for a similar bag ,of the same quality . Sturdier Than Expected Sometimes you see bags on the internet that look great, but when you receive them they're just not the quality you thought they would be. I was surprised to see that the straps were attached well and the material with which the bag is made better than I expected. I am going to get another smaller one for a friend as a Christmas gift. fits the need I bought the bag to use in Costa Rica for carrying camera equipment and food across the rivers when we surf. It is the correct size to accomodate even more stuff that you need to keep dry and free of blowing sand as well when on the beach. Straps are also more than adequate and not some mickey mouse after thought that will rip off. January 1, 2008
Great Bag I loved this bag. I used it to carry caving and camping gear to Chiquibul Cave in Guatemala. The hike to the cave, as well as exploring the cave, involved long distances, steep terrain and river crossings. Sometimes the bag was on my back sometimes it was strapped to a mule hauling gear over rugged trails but it came through with flying colors. I plan on using this bag for years to come. May 8, 2007
This product appears to fulfill advertised descrip I haven't used this item as I plan on using it on an Alaskan fishing trip in Sept. I have listed "Great" only because the purchase phase has been great and the outward appearance of the item is as described and appears to be very functional. I think this product will fulfill expectations for why I ultimately purchased this particular product. June 22, 2004
