Swiftwater rescue is serious business, and throw bag like the NRS 75ft Rescue Bag should be considered mandatory equipment for all whitewater paddlers. You never know when you or your paddling partner may run into trouble, so why risk being unprepared when it's easy to have a throw bag handy. NRS designed this rescue pack for easy deployment and great visibility. The yellow rope offers high contrast in any water and the colorful bag is designed to be seen. The bag has a mush upper for easy draining, while the 3/8-inch polypropylene rope is rated to 1,900-pound tensile strength. The barrel-lock drawstring and flared top enable smooth throws and easy reloading. An internal foam pad keep the bag afloat in rough water, while an elastic loop will hold a glow-stick for added visibility after sundown. Make the NRS 75ft Rescue Bag part of your required equipment for whitewater paddling.

Very nice throw bag. Instrucions would be nice, but they were easy enough to find online.

Good product

This throw bag is just the product I have looked for; well built and reliable. The throw bag is easy to use, rope is plenty long and hefty. No problem when wet, it still works as easily as when it is dry.
There is just one thing that the manufacturer should have included with the product; the instruction. I had to search the Web to get an idea the best way to use it. It does take a lot of practice to use it properly. It takes more than common sense.

This is a great throw bag at an affordable price. Every kayaker should carry one with them.
