We use these on our raft trips as well as sailing trips in a 22 ft open boat. We haul water, wash dishes, and haul trivia off and on boats. I have three that we fill with stuff on the sailboat to take ashore. I couldn't live without them. They are easy to carry in one hand by the handles as the bucket kind of folds in as you grab them. We also stow these buckets in a handy place to bail our sailboat should be swamp. They take up practically no room and would allow us both to bail the boat in minutes.
These things are pretty cool

. They are the best wash basin to bring on the river. They collapse to save precious space and are durable made of PVC like material. They handle scalding hot water and didn't seem to stretch or become deformed when the water froze solid on our trip early this April. I'd recommend getting Three and rotate them. Wash, 1st rinse, and final rinse w/ bleach in the last one (The Southard Method). They are expensive, but they're durable enough to justify it. Great product to add to the Kitchen Gear Dry Box!"
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, so darn convenient!, Cons: Cost, only color is blue but it's pretty.Did you recently buy the NRS Big Basin? Write a review.

I had purchase this to go with my boating gear, but have found it very useful when camping. We used it for washing dishes, doing laundry and with some practice bathing. It is durable and cleans up easy.
Blue.
