I was quite worried about the sizing problems a few people mentioned but I followed the recommendations and it was perfect. I am 5'11" 200 lbs, 44 chest, 36 waist and the XL fit like a glove. I took it whitewater kayaking a few weeks ago in really cold water and I had to swim twice but I stayed comfortable in the water.

The product is well made at a reasonable
price. It is sized VERY differently from
T-shirts - different by TWO AND A HALF
sizes. My size falls between L and XL
for T-shirts - I fit into L T-shirts, although
they are snug. XL T-shirts are more
comfortable. The XXXL wet suit is snug
but o.k. So the XXXL wet suit size falls
between the size of a large T-shirt and the
size of an XL T-shirt. I am 6'2" 220
pounds. Kind of strange sizing.

The NRS Farmer John 3mm Wetsuit is typical of what I have come to expect from using other NRS products including Little John wetsuit, Little John Hydroskin, boots, and gloves.... Excellent quality in workmanship and quality. When you are thinking of protection from cold water, NRS definately fills the bill. If possible, I highly recommend you try for sizing and fit locally before buying.

I wore the Farmer John on a very rough paddling trip through the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior. With 5 foot waves, a small craft advisory in effect, 20 mph headwinds, 70 air temp, 39 water temp, I found myself totally warm. A later immersion (on purpose) proved to me that the neoprene would keep me warm in the 39 degree water long enough to remount my kayak, even in waves. The suit is comfortable, even on hot days (for me anyway).
I am glad I followed Altrec's sizing advice regarding the Farmer John running small. I am 6', 200 pounds, and am glad I ordered the XXXL - it fit perfectly. NRS charts say I should have ordered a size smaller. (My brother, 6'3", 230 lbs. tried it on, found the legs too tight and chest constricting, so he ordered the Grizzly version, and was happy with that.)
The two-way zipper saves time and comfort when nature calls.
Conclusion: Sturdy, warm, well made, comfortable, functionable, and affordable. Perfect in my book.

Used it for triathlon. I got size large which was a bit snug ( I am 6ft 165 lbs ) but can't imagine I would want it bigger. Certainly warm enough ( water temp 64 degrees ). Very easy to get on and off. Good purchase/ reasonable price. Altrec shipped it on time and it arrived in good condition. No regrets. Would recommend product / Altrec

I am 5'6" 130 lbs and the Medium fits fairly loose on me. I am very happy with this product - plenty of space around neck and arms for paddling. I use in a touring kayak. Not sure about how warm it keeps you after getting wet - only used in in dry condtions in the 40's. I think it will be OK for 32 degrees and up. Good quality.

I would love these but the legs are pretty tight on me. I have big legs however from being a backpacker, runner, and biker so I suspect most won't have this problem.
