great for mossy rocks!
these are great for traction on slippery moss covered rocks, but felt soles have been outlawed in several river systems because of the risk of spreading invasive species.. not a problem if you stick to the same river system or clean them with very hot water.. at any rate, they work much better than rubber or studded soles.

Did everything I wanted
The NRS felt soled kickers that I ordered from Altrec did everything I wanted. They will give you more secure footing on slime covered rocks and launch ramps. They provide far superior traction than any rubber soled wading shoe I have had in my long lifetime. I'm 63. Thanks NRS and Altrec.-DJ

Felt is where it is at! Great Shoe!
This shoe is great for walking in or along a river during the heat of the summer. No more worries about twisting an ankle or in my case breaking a finger because of the slippery rocks.

Outstanding water shoe!
Great shoe for riding my PWC. Oysters and barnacles are no problem. I'll be wearing these with fins soon for skin/scuba diving.

Good light waders
Nice product here; great for the warm wading fly fisherman. Slick rocks are not a problem. The tight neoprene, sock like enclosure keeps out gravel. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.

worked great
These felt soled Kickers worked great! I fish rivers and creeks in a kayak and these Kickers did the trick I was really surprised how well the Kickers worked when going over logs. I have used felt soled boots before and know how well they work on rocks, well these Kickers worked well when pulling my kayak over logs too. I also like the fact they are light and stay on my feet. I would highly recommend to and one who fishes rivers and creeks or who in going to be in the water a lot.

These shoes are great for wading. The traction is very important for those slippery rocks and these shoes have proven to be excellent. I would not be without them for any river activity.

Comfortable. Great w/float tube fins.
Great with float tube fins and the felt bottoms great for summer wading on river bottoms.

Great for Slippery Rocks!!!
The felt soles really make these "shoes" the best I have used in rivers where there are algae covered rocks.

Excellent traction of wet rocks, poor drainage
I used the shoes to wet wade while river fishing. The traction of river rocks is excellent and the shoes are light and comfortable while in a canoe. I would like a shoe with better drainage, after a day on the river my feet get water logged
