I bought this helmet brecause of all the good reviews it got. I guess not all good reviews are good. The helmet was not very comfortable and did not seem like it would be very protective. The plastic shell is thin and the foam on the inside was soft. I returned it and bought a more expensive Shred Ready. The Shred ready was $35 more but it was well worth the extra money. Very comfortable and stable. I purchase mostly NRS products and have been happy with all of them except for this one.

I do agree you get what you pay for, but I like this helmet. It's simple and easy to fit. My head is smaller and I have seen people wear hats underneath and when she took a nasty swim, she couldn't see when to breath. I would get any helmet that fits well. This worked for me and was simple.
